Why am I seeing pap smear discourse. You have to get a pap smear it's a fucking cancer screening. It has nothing to do with whether or not you have sex or if it's problematic to assume everyone above a certain age has sex. It's a medical procedure not a value judgement. I'm sorry that it's physically and socially uncomfortable, but so are blood draws. You still have to get a pap smear. Yes, I agree that medical professionals should not intentionally make them more uncomfortable but you do have to put up with a little bit of discomfort sometimes to stay healthy. Don't tell people not to get pap smears bc they're problematic or whatever are you trying to get people killed????

Yes, your dentist can absolutely tell if you masturbated at home before your appointment. And in fact, a shower and change of clothes does little to hide this. The best step forward is to apologize to your dentist for masturbating.
