Can we talk about the infantalization of Connor in the dbh fandom orrr..
Especially that he shows ' autistic ' traits, he is an android , so calling out his social awkwardness and not understanding of social cues and tones could be tied to simply being an android- but we saw that it was different with Kara ,Markus, Simon, and north, they could blend in much better than him, he sticks out as an android too much even after devaiting, could be simply that his programming didn't care about such thing, but anyhow, if he was a human, he would be autistic coded.
And I'm sick of people babying autistic people, or autistic coded characters, you could act however you want towards your favourite fictional characters, don't get me wrong.
But it's obvious he is a fandom favourite, and he is treated a ceartin way because of him being autistic coded.
People like to pretend he has layers- and hate on people who treat him like an ' alpha male ' or wtv cringe thing they say, but they go around and treat him like a kid who can't do anything on his own, when he is a very capable android.
Both of these concepts are bullshit.
Anyways I think it's seriously a fetish, and by the amount of non-con fics around him ( not saying fictional non-con is bad genuinely who cares as long as there is warnings ) but he is always stupid, clueless , getting taken advantage of, and 99% of the time a bottom.
On any reading platform, his ' bottom tag ' is so much more than his ' top tag ' , his top tag is genuinely like 100 fics in total or smthn, and idc weather he is a top or a bottom, it just shows that his autistic coded traits are just fetishs to people.
Of course alot of people who write fics for him weather it's bottom or top aren't like that, but most people do so without realising it, and being a bottom should have to do nothing with being autistic coded, or soft, or however the fuck people perceive Connor as.
