Replayed Detroit: Become Human recently and got to the part where Perkins offers Markus a deal to get out alive if he surrenders. And if you're with North he tries to leverage her life against you too like "If you give up, you and her can start a new life together" as if North wouldn't fucking nail Markus's android balls to the wall for giving up their people just for her??? Like obviously Perkins doesn't know North personally but I wish there was an option to laugh at that particular offer.

something that i only really noticed properly when seeing my friend do a pathetic ousted markus run but i’m now paying more attention to in a more typical run again is just how much The Council (north simon josh) just get so pissy at markus when he does any single thing they deem to be the wrong decision, when frankly a lot of the time THEY could do it if they wanted, it’s entirely their decision whether they want to or not and it’s also entirely their decision to suddenly treat the new guy like the boss and like he’s the only one who can call any shots😭 i get itttt gameplay wise- they’re trying influence markus towards different gameplay routes and showing the player different decisions they can make, but overall it’s just strange and irritating to play sometimes

preconstructions as intrusive thoughts- markus and/or connor not intentionally producing them but having distressing visions of them preconstructing doing something that they Do Not want to do and would jeopardise their mission or relationships, causing them to scan themselves for viruses or some kind of error but being unable to find any. this results in them having constant fears that these preconstructions that build themselves in front of their eyes are some kind of hidden truth or that they can’t trust their body because they’re not truly in control and perform these actions

i wonder how connor lives with himself for what he did to the tracis, in both killing them and coldly mutilating and manipulating them in the evidence locker, once he deviates….. is he able to justify it or is it just guilt and regret?

would’ve been so cool and interesting if a part of markus’ playthrough was having him either do interviews with journalists or do more speeches via online forums spreading his message. it would’ve been an interesting segment to navigate, i think, if you had to play markus carefully through an interview and choose thoughtfully what you say and how you respond…. i also think it’s a missed opportunity to utilise more android-specific skills, like i’m sure they’d be very fast, efficient and accurate at garnering percentages of online support, how to hack into sites to get their messages through, and overall seems like a real like missed area in terms of reaching people and providing more words directly from markus or from his people and being able to give more specific information and communication between androids and humans
