started playing a game of Rusałka with some friends and this is my rusałka, Oleg. I chose the ghosts deck :) she is cruel and bitter and constantly angry and I love her
#she is like a holographic bookmark that goes between regular woman and nasty rotting pond skeleton#she was basically in a relationship with a man who loved her so much he ended up causing her to feel smothered and trapped and resentful#she wanted to explore the land but stayed in the town because that's what was expected of her so even though she wasn't being forced in any#way to stay she still did so and blamed her partner for it despite not telling him any of how she was feeling just letting it build up insi#she eventually fled into the woods wearing a long dress that he'd bought for her which got caught in a tree and she fell into the pond and#its weight tangled around her legs and dragged her down and the last thing she thought was that he still managed to trap her#he was the first petitioner :) he was going to propose and thought she died because he didn't show her enough love so he came to the pond t#wish to see her one last time and she granted his wish in that she would haunt him and he would never stop seeing her. and every time he#sees her she is glaring at him with utter hatred#rusalka
