I decided to create second blog for reblogging random things I like and keep my main (@sykloni) just for posting my art. (Just to warn: I am really inconsistent about tagging things I reblog)
Megatronus and his homunculus daughter son that kinda resembles his face so he took it in ☺️ to Soundwave’s point of view he was just picked up by a random giant and decided to go with it tbh. I do love the headcanon that Megatronus took SDW in a lot btw it’s so cute..
I assume it’s cuz Soundwave inspired the decepticon logo when transformers came to fruition 🤔 and Megatronus obviously being based off of the logo (in concept; ik in lore it’s the other way around), something something… this, but I love it

the lack of reaction about readcomiconline's death is the true indicator of how many people just do not read comics but participate in the comics fandom
You know what? I'm gonna take this as an opportunity to ramble about piracy.
"Piracy is bad, yada yada."
Alright. We can agree on that.
But—and I'm sorry if this comes across as offensive—that position often comes from a place of privilege.
And not just economic privilege.
I live in a country where American comics are not always easy to find, and in many cases they're never translated or published at all.
Just to be clear, I'm not talking about some mythical "third-world country". I'm talking about a perfectly ordinary European country where the comics I like simply aren't considered profitable enough to distribute.
I remember digging through obscure websites back in 2006 just to get a glimpse of The New Teen Titans. It was a nightmare, but somehow I managed to read the whole thing anyway.
It took me seven years to get a legally published copy of Blackest Night: Titans. SEVEN. Thank God for piracy, because it gave me immediate access. Otherwise I would have been the only idiot trying to discuss Black Lanterns in 2016.
Why? Because Titans comics are considered niche here. Shops don't stock them. Publishers often don't translate them. And when they do, sometimes the translation is... let's politely call it "creative".
(I'm still trying to recover from the translated version of Last Will and Testaments...)
You wait years, pay more, and occasionally get a worse product. Wonderful.
The only reason Blackest Night: Titans was eventually published here, as far as I can tell, is that Blackest Night was such a massive crossover event that leaving out an entire tie-in would have created a noticeable hole in the collection.
And don't even get me started on the Wolfman/Pérez era. That only became legally accessible here in the 2010s.
So yes, this might come as a shock to some people, but piracy is not always about being cheap.
Sometimes it's about access—because access is not distributed equally.
If a comic is unavailable in your language, unavailable in your country, unavailable digitally, unavailable physically, and unavailable second-hand at anything resembling a reasonable price, then "just buy it" stops being a solution and starts being nothing more than a slogan.
And for many international readers, piracy is the reason they became comic fans in the first place.
i've been brewing a time travel AU where, during a battle near shockwave's lab, soundwave is caught in the blast of one of shockwave's experiments and sent to the far future where the war is over. during the time in between soundwave is considered MIA and presumed dead. he meets blaster who has become a DILF and has taken care of soundwave's cassettes while he was gone. blaster also lost an audial and is hard of hearing after a separate battle where he gets injured. together they try to find a way to send soundwave back to his own time 😳

Still one of the best animations I've ever done. Took just under a week and was equal parts fun and challenging. So here are some process passes! The full version had too many colors so I had to do some compression T0T

idk who on earth could possibly need to hear this, but do NOT, under ANY circumstances, give out your SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER to ANY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS
The last of the civilians of Amity Park crossed beneath the dome. Under the safety of the dome, the air was still, a great contrast from the howling winds outside. An ecto-hurricane had begun rapidly forming over lake Eerie. The winds were so thickly laced with ectoplasm that just standing a rainband would cause you to become a level 3 contamination event. The Fenton's only had a few days to set up a shield big enough to cover the whole school and strong enough to withstand the winds.
Danny had volunteered to round up the last stragglers and help them make it to the safe zone. But as the group ran under, he stopped just a short of the protective shield.
"Danny?" Maddie turned back to her son, confusion lacing her voice.
Danny stood silently just beyond the shield, staring down to where the dome connected with the ground below.
"Danny?"
Danny's head snapped up and stared at her through the shield. There was a hint of fear in his eyes.
"Danny? What are you doing?"
Danny's eyes darted around, like he was searching the area for an excuse.
"What are you doing?! Danny the storm is almost here! You need to get under the protective dome right now!" She called out to him, an odd feeling of tension began to bubble under her skin.
"Mrs Fenton, what's going on?" A small crowd began to form behind her. She didn't take notice for the storm was growing closer.
"Danny!"
He flinched at her sudden change in tone. Her patience was almost run thin for the last two days he had been making excuses and dodging entering the dome. Using excuses like he didn't like the noise of the machine or couldn't see the stars from under the dome. Which the time was reasonable. But now you couldn't even see the Sun from how thick the clouds were. The wind began to pick up.
"Danny, sweetheart I know that sometimes our inventions target you, but the first rainband is almost here. You need to get under the dome right now!" She pleaded
Danny stepped back with one foot and something in her snapped.
"DANNY!" He jumped at the volume and hugged himself in comfort. The wind was whipping wildly now, she could see the first rainband peeking over the buildings.
"Get your ass under this dome RIGHT NOW! Do want us to be forced to de-ecto-contaminate you. I know how much you hate that thing! But if you don't come here right now, it will be even worse !"
His eyes widened as he took several steps back from the dome. His eyes were trained on her and held nothing but fear when looking at her. A sudden strong burst of wind sent a piece of debris flying through the lamppost closest to Danny. He flinched at the shattering sound of the glass and the popping of the light bulb inside but didn't move his eyes from her.
As the Street lamp went out, the brightest light source was now the glowing of the dome. It reflected off Danny's eyes, his pupils start glowing with a soft reflective light.
Instinctively Maddie's hand flew to her gun, and Danny's eyes filled with hurt. He took several steps back before turning and fleeing into the storm as the rainband closed over the dome.
Her son felt safer out there in the midst of an ecto-hurricane than in here with her.

I had this piece floating around in my head for a while and when I saw your art I got so excited that someone else had the same train of thought as me. Although I did change the reason for the dome. But I just love the idea of Danny being required to cross an anti-supernatural barrier and not being able to.

Pottery sounds terrifying to me. Every post I see is like "Here's this awesome art I made!! Pray for me that it survives The Kiln™ :')" I don't think I could cope with making art that could quite easily blow up and I have no way of controlling that. You guys are true heroes.

After his transformation into a vampire and committing his accidental first kill, Zeynel returns home to the safety of Ayse's embrace. As the night grows he confronts the meaning of his new reality.

AAAAAAAAAA!!!!! @ Zeynel and Ayse TT_TT
Anyway the night-time scene gave me a lot of grief with the printed version (it was WAY too dark). I've fixed up the contrast for this edition - now I just need ONE MORE chance at redemption.

The art style I’ve used to depict the djinn is in homage to Siyah Qalam – black ink drawings, which is part of the historical heritage of the nomadic people who will one day form the Ottoman Empire. These drawings are a synthesis of Chinese, Persian, Indian, Turkish and various other cultures in the region, and contain lurid depictions of (perhaps pre-Islamic) demons and mundane nomadic life.

As usual author's commentary is on the website!

I will be taking a break on updating TCM/TWIDI until the end of the month because I will be BUSY!!! With conventions!!!
