Hey tumblr, I’m worms! I like superheroes, animated media and niche sub-genres of psychological horror. Oh, and worms on strings, of course!

I identify as female, but I’m not particularly fussed about pronouns. They’re just words to me, I guess, so call me whatever you like :)

Let's say I really wanted to reduce the number of children who die in car accidents. Car accidents are really bad, right? Nobody disagrees about that. And it would be much better for both the environment and the kids' health if they spent more time walking, or taking the bus. Perfectly reasonable. More cars off the road, safer roads, fewer kids getting hurt, healthier kids. A win-win!

Therefore, let's ban children from traveling by car and require all cars to have a scanner on the door that scans the government ID of everyone who gets in the car to make sure no kids are in there. After all, kids get hurt in car accidents all the time! We need to ban this right away!

Everyone shipping Orin Scrivello and Arthur Denton is so funny to me. Everything about the scene between them was non-consensual. Arthur actually makes Orin incredibly uncomfortable. Scares him, even. Orin is a freak, sure, but his issues are just a severely fucked moral compass; Arthur, on the other hand, actively enjoys something the human body does to tell us that something is terribly wrong.

I need a fic where Arthur stalks Orin and he finally feels the fear he’s inflicted on his patients (and others) for all these years. Not a romance, something horrible and concerning. Yeahhhh. Something that will make me regret reading it.

(Of course, feel free to ship them if you want!! I’m not the fandom police, and I can’t deny I love some toxic yaoi, so go crazy. I’d just love to see that closer-to-canon side of them explored more, and I think there’s a lot that a writer could do with it.)

One of my favourite things about rocky horror is that we might at first assume Frank’s behaviour is typical of that of someone from Transylvania. Then we find out that his lifestyle is too extreme for even Riff Raff and Magenta, and that he’s just Like That™. What are the standards on Transylvania? They clearly still prioritise hedonism and freedom, from the way we see Riff and Magenta (particularly Magenta) act, but where’s the limit and in what ways does Frank cross it?

the magnus archives and its running theme of antagonistic forces being polite,,,

-"It Is Polite To Knock", first and foremost. and there's a running theme of antagonistic forces knocking. eg, Jane Prentiss never attempting to force her way in to Martin's house, but standing outside and knocking for days on end, Natalie knocking politely on Kathy's door when she tries to recruit her to the Dark cult and never barging in, etc etc

-the Distortion doesn't tend to force people to enter, it waits for people to come in on their own

-Mike Crew's "I was trying so hard to be polite"-- and his attempt was pretty solid! he was legitimately polite up until then, and would have probably continued being polite if Jon didn't keep doubling down

-Peter Lukas cares about proper workplace management and takes actual workplace suggestions from his employees. And agrees to do fewer murders.

-the ONE thing Jonah-Elias is famous for is apologizing. Imagine the most evil thing you do in your life is apologizing for the deception

meanwhile the archival staff are beating each other to death while calling each other 12 slurs per day. they've never tried to be polite for a single second of their lives.
