          chuckle will fall from her lips  ,   head leaning back to let her hair down free  .   oh  ,   the  ENERGY  this girl had  .   citlalli can’t remember being quite as  ...   into hobbies when she was gwen’s age  ,   but she certainly admired it  .     “  that wasn’t the goal  ,   but i can’t say i’m  mad  about it  .  ”    a wide grin  ,   before she swings her legs over the side of the bed and takes the other’s hands  -  letting her pull her in for a hug  and she’ll wrap her arms her arms around the other  .     “  awh  ,   i missed you too  .   and i figured  ,   i’m more partial to the heat  -  but also  ,   shadows  .  ”    a shrug  ,   she doesn’t mind a contradiction  .     “  sounds the  PERFECT  day to celebrate with the heat  .  ”  

         she’s honestly  excited  to have the blonde over  ,   perhaps a bit  lonely  in her place  -  though her daughters and eric kept her company when they could  .     “  oh  ,   you can still  wear  it  ,   honey  .   just maybe not in these temps ?  ”    takes the jacket from the younger girl  ,   snow will move to hang up the jacket herself  .   she could always do the little things  -  besides  ,   she liked to show a good example  .   head shakes  ,   smiles kindly as she places her hand on top of mal’s  .     “  i’m a  mom  ,   mal  .   worrying is what i do  .   ---  plus  ,   i know what it’s like  .  ”    she’d always been  OPEN MINDED  ,   giving people chances were her thing  .    then she’ll perk up  ,    shaking her head  .   “  nonsense !  you’re still a kid  ,   you should be having  fun  .   it’s just a little stress in the grand of things  ,   but it’s  not  why i asked you to come over kiddo  .   i wanted to  show  you something  .  ”  

          this snow isn’t the  same  as a winter in france  ,   and there’s no denying just  how much  she misses it  .   but anaïs  always  tried to find beauty in all things  .      “  mmm  ,   my father taught me to find beauty in all things but  -  i think i might have my mom’s first reaction tendencies  .   can’t say i quite  like  this weather  .  ”    and she takes it  ,   because she  likes  this attention  ,   and she’s  cold  anyways  .     “  thank you  .   we’ll walk fast  ,   make sure you don’t get cold either  .  ”  

           “  my dad’s crew always  did  say if i didn’t charm someone into dating me  ,   i’d be able to make ‘em  laugh  enough to be into me  .  ”    adelaine chuckles  ,   shaking her head with a grin  ,   covering some of the books and packets with her hands   .     “  okay  ,   i stand by that  -  but it can’t be  ALL  work  ,   ilanah  .   you’ve got to have some  fun breaks  too  .   otherwise you might actually lose your mind  .   distractions can be  good  .  ”  

         dark eyes glance up and down  ,   noticing the other’s reaction  .   not normal  -  but perhaps none of her business  ,   either  .   she should play it  COOL  ,   citlalli notices  ,   before hopping up on the counter  .     “  good to know my senses are still in check  .  ”    cooly looks away  ,   will lean up against her own arms  .    “  well  ,   welcome  .   are you looking for anything in particular ?  ”  

            “  that’s my smart girl  .  ”    she ruffles her daughter’s hair  -  just  when  did she grow up so much ?   suddenly snow feels like she missed  SO MUCH  ,   elly was her youngest and yet  ...  soft smile upon her lips  ,   she watches her daughter absolutely  DESTROY  whatever it is she’s doing on that game  .   maybe  -  snow could enroll her in some classes that help develop  whatever  skill video games use  .    a scoff  ,   snow shakes her head  .     “  i’d do no such thing !  i just want to hang out with my youngest  ,   is that too much to ask ?  ”  

           “  you are playing the game  .   you are making the noise  .  ”    siren insists  ,   though she keeps her distance with a wince  .   what is it with humans and  METAL NOISE MAKERS  ?      “  is there not a way to quiet it ?   i can do it  .  ”    she would 100% smash it  .  

        “  you  won’t  get in trouble  .   mom and dad trust us  .   calcifer too  .  ”    head shakes  ,   dark eyes watching her sister with the books  .   she knows her sister’s habits  ,   and anaïs reacts  ,   leaning against one of the walls as she settles on the floor  .   eyes widen  ,   she’ll look at the other with slight  panic  in her eyes  .     “  what !?  why me !?  i’m so much worse at people than you are  .   i don’t even like people  ,   much less  pretentious  royalty  !   how about  ...  i dunno  ,   we talk to his  girlfriend  or something ?   she’s cool  .   she has purple hair  .  ”  

         it’s just about the reaction she was expecting  -  if  anything  ,   she almost thought she’d get a more aggressive one  .   she sees his father in him  ,   but she supposes even harry hook can have personality  .      “  i would expect  nothing less  ,   harry hook  .  ”    she begins to speak as if  EVERYONE  knows about her  ,   and maybe everyone does  .      “  you know i’m a   tinker  fairy  ,   correct ?   i have a way with  THINGS  ,   making them work  better  and  stronger  than they ever were before  .  ”     glances down at his hook  ,   before looking back up  .      “  crew items  ,   the boat itself  ,   personal items  .  ”    a shrug  .   she’s never  really  played by the rules of good and bad  .  

            perhaps  ...  she could learn from her brother  ,   whilst watching over him  .   he could  ,   she knew  ,   take care of himself  -  but she thinks she’ll  always  have that urge to watch over her little brother  .      “  wish i had years  .   i do not think this will be  ...  permanent  .  ”    gestures around them  ,   she hardly believed in it  .      “  humans have always been weird  .   i never trust them  .   ...  weird ?  ”  

         “  it’s old  ,   worn out  ,   literally nothing i  haven’t  heard before  .   if you’re going to drive me away  ,   at least put some  effort  into it  .  ”    head shakes  ,   she ignores him as she walks past him  .     “  n o p e  .   you realize i’m  just  as stubborn as matteo  ,   if not more so ?   i couldn’t give less of a shit  .   honestly and truly  ,   add me to your hit list  .   i look  forward  to it  .  ”  

          arms cross  ,   hmph  will leave her lips  .   little boys  ,   maybe it was a good thing she wasn’t too close to harry when he was younger  .     “  stories are not  accurate  if not written down  .   it makes it easier to lie  .   no  .   mermaids look half human  .   sirens look less human  ,   more deadly  .  ”  

           grin  ,   she has to try her  HARDEST  to fight back a louder than normal giggle  .     “  shhh !   don’t announce it to the whole school !  ”   bites her lip as she places a finger on his  ,   before taking his arm into her with ease  .    “  nobody  .   maybe the weather tricked my brain into thinking we should have a snow day  .   i think it’s what we deserve  .  ”    grins wider at him  ,   pure  JOY  filling in on her face  .   she  loves  spending days with him  .     “  great  ,   i’ll drive ?   i have a  place  in mind already  .  ”  

         “  oh ?  your mom sounds super cool then !  ”    she’s never had a mom buy something for her  ,   that’s  for sure  .   brow crinkles  ,   she looks down at the game  .     “  i don’t know  ...  the difference with the game systems  .   or what super smash is  .   could you  --  show me first ?  ”  

          “  oh  ,   you don’t even know  .  ”    wide grin  ,   she’ll play with the snow in her hands into a ball as she steps forward  .    “  i’m a  big fan  of ragers  ,   but going out for food at cool restaurants are fun too and staying in to paint is nice  ,   yanno ?  ”    another step  ,   she goes on her toes to drop the snow gracefully on top of him  .     “   and i’m  never  against a good snowball fight  .  ”  

        roll of her eyes  ,   but it’s  only  lighthearted towards the older man !   she’s allowed to do this  ,   she thinks  .   he’s  basically  family  .     “  you  do know  me answering that would definitely be another roast aimed at you  ,   right ?   yep  .   pretty much all the advantages to being a zombie except  without  being ugly  ,   and no brains for dinner  .  ”    a shrug  ,   she’ll look at at him  .     “  my guess ?   someone  pissed off another powerful person  .   there’s no way in hell this is  natural  -  so  ...  i’d start with magic users  .  ”
