* TRAGIC / BOY

Harper watched the other and kept toying with the males back softly. “I suppose it would… although I have some fun games to play, pan… how about you put your trust in me..I wouldn’t disappoint.” He teased the male with a lick over his lips and watched the other moving so their bodies touched with the hand still toying with the males back. 

     clearly the boy was utterly clueless as to what was actually going on. eyeing the older male, peter slowly began to shift himself away from the other, merely offering up a bright smile. “i do enjoy games,” he mused with a nod. those always were his favorite things to do, especially back on neverland. “guess it depends what kind. usually i like picking the games, though, because i always pick the best ones. and i’m just better, obviously.”

The young hero caught Harper’s eyes and he couldn’t help but give a small smile as he spoke. “Oh? Well without a voicebox he is unable to blow it…there are much better things to blow… and more fun to do with a horn.” he teased the male moving closer with a hand grazing up and down the males back.

     blinking up at the other, all the boy could do was laugh. no, he wasn’t one to get any sort of innuendo. while he may be mischievous and prone to doing things that might be considered all good, he was still innocent in many regards. “i still think hiding it would be really fun. or playing a game. toss it around, make sure he can’t get it back !! that’s exciting.” 

To think he was actually at the castle for a gala was something he was confused over. Why he came along to this thing was beyond him - but perhaps he was hoping for something to happen that he could join in with. He really wanted some fun, and this was more his idea of hell - and as someone who was the son of the hades - hell was real to them. “I swear, If I hear another horn being blown, I will take that horn and shove it so far up, it will replace their voicebox.” he snapped.

     while peter wouldn’t go quite that far, he could agree that the whole thing was rather annoying. every single time it sounded he wanted to go and grab it, toss it away or maybe taunt the person doing all of the damn horn blowing. his thoughts were more mischievous rather than violent. “i think i’d rather steal it. maybe hide it away so they’ll never be able to find it ever again. that way we won’t have to deal with the annoying noise anymore.”

“ well , i wouldn’t say i was a   bad influence on your little   faerie friend .. just different . ”

                  she tucked her flask away , doing her best                   to hide the rum she’d grown a little more                   attached to than she’d have liked . pirates …

“ i’m zarina , an alchemy talent   faerie . and you’re the boy that   started the whole codfish thing .   big fan of your work . ”

     oh !! that name sort of rang a bell. peter’s memory was the absolute worse, but if he thought really hard, he could almost recall tink saying something about a faerie whose name started with a z. and that was only because it had been such an odd name and an even weirder story. “i think tink mentioned you once or twice. probably. she sometimes tells me stories but i usually forget them if they’re not about me.” bright smile appeared at the mention of her being a fan of the nickname. “why thank you. always glad to meet someone who sees the codfish like i do.”

Once again, Ophelia was in a head turning outfit. There was something liberating about looking so strange in such an elegant gathering. Most of the people here had no idea who she was and would probably think of her as the strange girl in the short dresses. She recognized Peter Pan from the summer festival on Neverland, and was a bit amused to find them in the same vicinity. He probably wouldn’t even notice what she looked like. “Peter Pan, isn’t it? Or do you prefer Mr. Pan?” 

– & Jackson had to admit that while he wasn’t one for fancy gigs like this, the Gala did remind him of his time before Neverland. The life he’d lived before accepting Peter’s offer, which he would never mention to Peter. That life was far too long ago to be dwelling on, and he’d never want to make Peter feel like Jackson regretted his choice. Yet, he can’t help but become melancholy and perhaps that’s why he’s found himself sitting at one of the corner tables alone. Rubbing his lighter open and shut against his palm, repetitive motion as he stares out at the sea of bodies. “You ever think about how easy things would be if all the kingdoms just left each other alone?” Question falls though his attention is still seemingly lost, gaze vacant.

      staring out at the sea of people, peter let out a loud sigh, resting his chin on his hand. he was really beginning to regret agreeing to this whole thing. the only reason peter had remotely bothered with any of this was due to be asked. and even then he had been hesitant for something this fancy. none of this was peter’s life, nor was it ever going to be. he far preferred freedom, running wild and doing whatever he wanted. when he heard jackson speak up, green eyes shifted over to him. “i try not to think about any of that. politics are boring and i don’t really care for them all that much. it’s why i stay out of it all.”

“Well you try planning three days worth of parties and a masquerade!” Jane hadn’t really been the one to plan this, she’d helped of course, but not with any of the organizing like she’d wanted to. Instead she’d hung streamers for a few hours with the rest of the Castle’s staff.  “It’s only the first day, I’m sure it will pick up soon!” 

Ellie rolled her eyes. “Oh come on compare to those other older pirates us younger ones actually look alot better.” She said still. “If my captain can hear you now, he would agree with you.” She said. “I never expected to see you here.”

    “this whole thing is just boring !!” unfortunately he had been roped into this entire ordeal much to his displeasure. peter didn’t enjoy these sorts of things even remotely. formal and stuffy wasn’t his thing, not when he would much rather be running around wild and doing as he pleased. all of this felt far too restrictive. “don’t people know how to have fun around here??”

It all felt like to her, being able to attend something fancy like this or even being allowed inside the castle was a trap. It was like if they wanted the VKs to do something so she felt at edge. She also felt so out of her comfort zone in a dress so nice like this. It was different to her usual attire but at least she looked like she fit in. “I got to say, I do clean up nicely for a pirate huh?” Ellie joked as she took a drink from her cup of wine.

– & The presence is not unnoticed and yet the touch to his shoulder has Jackson flinching, if only because it makes him realize how ANGRY he has been. “I’m sorry.” Voice much softer than it had been, eyes slipping shut as sharp breath is taken inward. No, nothing in the last few weeks should have happened. Innocent lives taken on both sides, it needed to be put to a stop. One way or another, but it seemed that the royals of Auradon had taken it upon themselves to do whatever they deemed right. “I shouldn’t have reacted so….” He shakes his head, offering a smile to the fearless leader he’s grown so very fond of. “What have you been up to, Peter? Mischief, I hope.”

     “don’t gotta be sorry.” peter gets it. sometimes emotions can just a hold of a person, and this was just one of those instances. he’d been around long enough to understand that. this entire ordeal is more than a little tiring, peter growing more and more disappointed with the choices that auradon was making. they were supposed to be the heroes, yet here they were, doing incredibly unheroic deeds. peter waves it off, offering up a bright smile. “always. you know me, can’t ever keep me down.”

– & Items strewn across the room, loud sounds of crashes and frustrated grunts and groans. ANGUISH coils within the depths of his stomach, absolutely horrified with the turn of events. Auradon was a safe haven for everyone, or so it had been for years. Villains start coming back and suddenly the people forget how to behave. It’s nothing short of a j o k e and Jackson is utterly appalled by it all. The treatment of someone so young, with so much potential just because he was a villains son? Or perhaps because they needed a scape goat. Maybe he was the real culprit behind the magic induced storm, but Jackson doubted one person could be that powerful. All the same it only brings another wave of anger and frustration, shouting to the room as another bout grips him.

     loud noises were obvious even before the boy had entered the room. gaze roams around the area, taking in all of the destruction that has occurred. peter cannot blame the other for all of the anger that is clearly being displayed. truthfully he feels sick even thinking about what had occurred to that poor boy. stripped of his magic, made into a cautionary tale. it was utterly cruel to do to someone even despite the circumstances of it all. stepping further into the room, peter reaches out, a hand setting on jackson’s shoulder, giving a small squeeze. he understands the emotions right now. “i know it’s awful. it shouldn’t have happened.”

      “yeah — well.” she huffed, crossing her arms. “you know elva and introduced us so you have to listen to me. i…” she trailed off, gaze falling to the ground as she glared at it like it had personally done her harm. “i just don’t want her to hate me because i’m like bad at kissing or something,” she admitted in a soft voice. she liked elva and circe knew that after that kiss, she liked her more than a friend should but what could she do about it? she had spent so many years in neverland, surrounded by other children who never wished to understand the intricacies of adulthood and that included things like dating and love.

“I didn’t create the policy on magic and I’ve been very lenient, but my parents weren’t wrong. It’s precisely the unpredictability that means magic shouldn’t be used!” He slumped back in his chair and pulled a hand over his face. “If they don’t have that kind of power who does? We have to figure it out in order to make it stop.”
