i read about the expedition to photograph the mount lyell shrew and something about it seems lovely... i hope they wore pith helmets and wore khaki and told everyone who asked that it was a shrew-photographing expedition without any shame or self-consciousness they got a lovely pic of their shrew btw it like dominates google images its the one where he's looking up sweetly

they wore normal clothes and put the shrews in plastic cups with cat food which is much less romantic but its still ok iguess.
