Drawing female versions is difficult because how the character dresses would look real different depending on whether they are trans or not … (I don't think teen Kaya would have the guts to come out at 15 so the trans version would be way more confident)

Rewatched “Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop” a while ago and this scene made me think of Kai and Lukas. So I had to do this…. @ragequitmanga

For context: Smile (the girl) is asking Cherry (the guy) why he hasn’t been wearing his headphones lately and he says he doesn’t need them(because he likes her and feels safe with her!!) and it made me think of Kai n Lukas because Kai is always seen wearing his little buds :P
