and his response when said bestfriend stormed off would be “Okay, good talk, see you later”?

his introduction arc was him genuinely getting so pissy over being exposed for lying abt some bs that he... dedicated his time and effort to make a virus to mess with the ones who exposed him. Then when he actually got what he was lying about having (which is, a role as a tobot pilot), instead of just playing hero and replacing the real tobots who were already inactive anyways, he agreed to make chaos around the city to ruin their reputation even more. And then when the Tritan trio tried to confront him again he PEPPER SPRAYED THEM.
