listening to brian wilson 1988 album (had to backspace and slowly type out that name cause for some reason i was locked in to type "pet sounds '88" even tho thats not true i do like that name just cause i like when they use years like that like in galaga '88) anyways i had a lil brian wilson day listened to pet sounds then love you then am listening to brian wilson '88 rn and am gonna listen to my super nice bootleg andy paley sessions CD after b4 going to bed. idk why but ive been super sweaty today i guess its rly hot n ive been wearing my pajama sweater all day >_< well actually i kno why im sweaty its cause i used my rhythm machine playing piano and anytime i do smthn like that where i have to "hook up" smthn to play i kinda get nervous abt playing stuff thats worth recording so i sweat alot tbh. same w/ using my farfisa like i think its not so much the idea of recording but because its at a set volume that i cant fluctuate between subtlely playing it like its always the same volume so i get a lil nervous or smthn and tend to overplay n stress myself out. tho i didnt feel too much like tht rn playing w/ the rhythm ace rn i wanna use it super regularly when recording cause i love it sm it doesnt have full customization like a cr 76 or minipops but it does give u a nice variety compared to the whippany rhythm master and i rly enjoy the rhythms a lot n wanna get to using it anytime i record i just think i have to have like play n improvise before and get a good melody n chord going then going to the rhythm machine to match the tempo n then recording n improvising etc as opposed to wht ive been trying to do which was just putting hte rhythm machine on and trying to play against it but tonight i did the otehr thing and came up w/ a lil riff then set it up n had a good time :)
