i told my shift supervisor that if she hates the person she reports to so deeply she should go to HR and hope that something actually happens instead of constantly ranting to our general manager who clearly does not give a fuck about her or anything that happens on our shift and hoping that he will somehow fix everything. she told me "well thats just opening a can of worms." i said "would u rather open the can of worms in the hope that something might finally happen or keep on ranting to our general manager and ultimately continue living the way you do?" and she did not reply to this. i dont trust out general manager and it annoys me everyone makes excuses for him on account of he has autism. as if everyone else in our department doesn't! i know unequivocally that the three most important members of our team (the shift, the lead machine operator, and i) are somewhere on the spectrum. i think to make the excuse that autism completely precludes you from empathy and understanding sets a disgusting precedent that will hurt all of us. he doesnt gaf about us because he only cares about his own personal material gain not because hes autistic come the fuck on, what an awful and backwards notion to have about autistics! after my driving classes i'm going to the local DSA chapter and im getting this place unionized bc jfc. we cant keep living like this youre all so exhausting
