The Occupation has systematically destroyed every social infrastructure that makes civil society possible, whether it be healthcare, food systems, or education. They've targeted schools, hospitals, businesses, and every person who supports their community through their profession.

Rana and Ahmed (@ranafam2) are educators from Khan Younis, with Rana as a statistics professor at the Islamic University of Gaza and Ahmed as the principal of his school: both institutions have now been destroyed.

Palestinians have survived occupation for well over a century now, and they will remain steadfast, but they need your support.

Even with the ceasefire, resources are still limited and expensive. The weekly allowance for basic provisions like baby formula and flour is about $1000. Rana is also anticipating additional costs for baby formula, clothes, and natal care as she's eight months pregnant and expecting soon.

Finally with the ceasefire, Rana is hoping to evacuate with her family altogether. The cost of evacuation per person ranges from $5000 to $7000. If Rana gives birth before she can evacuate, that puts the total anticipated cost at $49,000 (5 children, 2 adults).

In a corner of Gaza, my family and I are drowning in destruction, with the echoes of suffering surrounding us. I sat beside my modest tent, hastily erected after losing my home in the latest bombing. The faces of my family tell stories of patience and resilience, with lines of time etched upon them, as if they were records of unforgettable events. 🇵🇸⏳🍉

I once lived in a small home, filled with the laughter and voices of my children. Today, I have become a witness to the agony of displacement. The bombing forced me to flee with my children after a shell struck our home, leaving behind years of memories and simple belongings I never imagined would become unreachable. 🏚️💨

Every morning, I leave my tent and go to work, using a clay oven to provide food for my children. Meanwhile, my youngest son heads to the charity kitchens that offer aid, waiting for long hours under Gaza’s scorching sun. Despite the exhaustion that weighs down his frail body, he carries the food mixed with his tears and returns with a fake smile, hiding behind it the burdens of his struggles. 🍞🥀

At night, when everyone else is asleep, I remain seated at the entrance of my tent, gazing at the dark sky, reminiscing about days gone by… about my home that was once filled with warmth. Yet, I still find remnants of hope in my heart—a hope that one day peace will return, and my children and I will live in a new home, filled with joy. 🌙🏡✨

In moments of solitude, I find peace in prayer and supplication. I plead to God to protect Gaza and its people, to wipe away the dust of sorrow from our hearts. I always repeat🇵🇸🍉🌿

I am Jihad from Palestine, specifically from the Gaza Strip - Khan Yunis. My family and I lived in a house consisting of 12 apartments. I had a shop and I lived in dignity before the crazy war. I was displaced from my home to Rafah and then to Al-Mawasi.

When the operation in Khan Younis ended, I looked for my house and did not find it. It was completely destroyed, and my shop was also destroyed. My family and I found ourselves living in the streets in torn tents that did not protect us from the heat of the sun or even from the rain. Now we are living a miserable life.

Suddenly, Saturday morning, it was a morning like any other. But suddenly the ground shook under our feet, and we heard a sound like thunder...and then silence. scary. it's all over! 😱💔 Shells exploded everywhere, the walls of our house collapsed above our heads 🏠💣, and deafening sounds mixed with the screams of my children 😢😢. We crawled from under the rubble with exhausted bodies and terrified hearts, running among the smoke and debris in search of safety 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️. Our house, once so full of life, is now a pile of ashes. 💔

Now we live in a small tent in which we do not feel safe or comfortable. We used to live in it before. It has no warmth. We wake up every day to the sounds of dogs and the sounds of strong winds. I am writing this with full hope to find people with kind hearts to help and support to regain my physical ability to walk and work again.

My name is Ahmed Al Yazji. I am 20 years old living in Gaza and in need for urgent medical treatment after being dangerously injured by a recent Israeli airstrike.

On Nov 11, 2023, I was at home staying peacefully with my family when an air strike hit the house causing severe damage to the building and serious injury to my neck.

The medical images show part of a rocket still present in my neck which according to the report will potentially cause me complete paralysis if not removed.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to do the needed surgery in Gaza due to lack of medical expertise, the damaged hospitals and equipment caused by the war.

Before the war, I was working and taking care of my family and being responsible for the financial expenses.

Now with my injury, I am not physically capable of working which has been causing extreme hardship to my family who is now facing inevitable hunger and escalating health issues.

I am running this fundraiser to ask for donations to help me do a neck surgery out of Gaza so that i can gain back my physical abilities to walk and work to feed my family. Part of the donations will be also used to maintain our house that was severely impacted by the strike.

Hello, I am Dina, I am 25 years old, I have two children, I gave birth to my child during the war, under bombing and genocide. I support my children and my children have become without a place or security. My daughter is 2 years old and my son is 3 months old, I gave birth to him under bombing and no medical care for me and my child.

My children need basic needs such as milk and food. I currently live in a tent after I lost my home due to the occupation and I cannot tell you what life is like there. It is like hell. Very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. In addition, there are insects and snakes. It is suffering. I want my children to live and be able to survive. Save them from the war and provide them with their needs of clothes and food. I have been displaced several times, and every time I was escaping death and bombing amidst the screams of my children so that I could get them out of Gaza to a safer place, so I ask you to extend a helping hand to save them from death and so that my heart does not break or something bad happens to them. My name is Sameer Al Khaldi. I am a Palestinian refugee living in Gaza with my family of 17 people in a tent facing the worst war in human history. During the current Gaza war, my house was completely destroyed resulting in the loss of my business and all our belongings. Me and my family have since been displaced in the streets with no shelter, lack of access to food, drinking water, and healthcare necessities. Despite we were camping in areas which were announced as safe, we faced an imminent danger of death by Israeli airstrikes in our camping neighborhoods several times which resulted in serious physical and psychological impacts on us as well as my little grandsons. I am writing this fundraiser hoping to get help with your generous donations to evacuate Gaza immediately to a safer country.

Before the war, we were having a normal life in Gaza having our own business and working hard with my sons and brothers to be able to survive under the Gaza siege. We were preparing for my daughter's wedding which was supposed to take place this summer but unfortunately she got all her wedding dresses and belongings gone with the destroyed house. She's now left with nothing hoping to be able to get married to her fiancé in a safer place one day. One of my sons was supposed to complete his high school education this year and was passionate about enrolling in a university to study business but the war deprived him from this success and left him hopeless while seeing other students in the west bank receiving their high school certificates while he's left behind. I hope this fundraiser with your generous support would help him to get out of Gaza and continue his education and achieve his life goals abroad. The funds collected through this fundraiser will be used to pay for the travel expenses for myself and my family of 17 people including 9 adults and 8 children. We hope one day will be able to rebuild our lives peacefully and get back to stable conditions with safety and protection for our kids like other children in the world.
