vex's cuckoo looks the oldest to me because it's a vex neither innocent (freshly decanted) nor filled with wanderlust (sidestep). post-fall vex is the most out of it but has tasted freedom and life before so is clinging onto the feeling of being human.

the telepathy wreath is one of my favorite design bits i've done for vex and it changes with her era's promptly:

baby vex has the wreath resemble a child's crayon drawing of flowers (her telepathy/eye blue color is less harsh) -> cuckoo vex has it as clovers (it's also the most orderly of the wreathes) -> sidestep vex retains the same shape but turns them into diamond/compass stars and they are less orderly since vex has freedom -> farm vex lacks a proper wreath with it resembling a headband (small reference but i imagine it similar to sun wukong's golden headband mimicking how vex is restricted again) -> and then the mess that is her regular neuron wreath (the disparate parts are connected now due to her telepathy levelling up)

vex aesthetically has warmer skin color undertones from decanted to sidestep, but after her secon capture its a lot more of a sickly cool color.
