im gonna say smthing v particular but the truth is that ppl outside of latam do not care about their governments stealing our resources n selling our rivers n lands, they honestly see it as an inevitable fact of life that their corporations do this 2us, they bviously empathize w us bcs they r ppl but they do not get indignant. bcs 2them its jst the way the world works. and it is, but where as we see it as an injustice actively being perpetuated against us by real human being in our territory n HOME. they see it in the likes of the laws of gravity: it will happen. n it doesn't matter how much they see u as the "good" latin american and us as the "bad" ones, their help n result is always the same. their perspective 2us n our claims always annoyances from paradigms they dont fully get and therefore are not quite as valids as theirs. and they can see u as a person obvs but they dont see ur fights as part of the "good fight."
