windblade taking on hashtag cityspeaker apprentice is such a special hc/au to me and it upsets me greatly that the one post i’ve seen on it immediately got derailed by someone making it all about. character who i dare not name..
but really i think windblade as hashtags mentor could’ve been sooo so so special. hashtag has this want for connection that is taken advantage of. the way mandroid violates hashtags mind is incredibly similar to how vigilem invades windblades mind and attempt to take over her body as well. i think having someone that is like. actually real and physical with her that has learned the same things through harsh experience and survived would be so important to hashtag and learning that vulnerability isn’t necessarily a weakness.
it’d also be important for windblade depending on how caminus is written. she gets to pass down her culture and history to a newer generation. and even if hashtag doesn’t fully take on the role of cityspeaker its knowledge that will continue to live on. special to me…
