I'll most likely be blacklisted and called crazy for bringing up real-life politics to HOTD fandom discourse but it's such a tone-deaf thing to get a character, no matter how evil they are, be sodomized by a knife before his alleged death and laughing at it, as if we don't have real-life war criminals kidnapping colonized people and doing the exact same torture/sexual assault on them in a death camp. As if we haven't been horrified by the grainy CCTV footage of the crime happening and nothing, nobody being held accountable for such heinous, barbaric act. Now we have Hollywood including something similar to a character who is obviously supposed to be a misogynistic villain, who uses children as human shields... This is nuts, people, block me and call me crazy, idiot, dense, braindead, but I cannot digest such disgusting addition... I just can't wrap my brains around laughing at someone being tortured so cruelly... No no no.
