the thing about tuesday is that she LOVES children, she WANTS to be a mother. and from what we know of her: she was the Oldest Daughter; she had a brother that tried to move to LA but was stopped by their father; she grew up in an incredibly patriarchal, conservative christian household. escape was not possible, as shown by her brother's attempt. so if she wanted to be a mother, the only way was to marry a man and that's why she accepted being engaged. is it any wonder why she took to the Motel Baby right after her family's murder so readily? there was a baby that needed a mother - right there for free!!! no man or marriage involved!!!
