Since San Lang literally has dice with teleportation arrays that can take him anywhere he wants, this has to be the first time in 800 years that he's had to actually WALK from point A to point B. Supposedly ghosts are affected by too much sunlight; that doesn't seem like it would get to Hua Cheng with his power level, yet you can't deny our boy looks miserable.

I think he's most upset that this whole trek is happening because SOMEONE doesn't have enough spiritual magic to get them right where they wanna go. He might have even been fine with an extended trip if it was just him and Xie Lian, but those other two had to butt in. No wonder moments after this he's immediately picking a fight to make himself feel better.

round 7. on stage, there’s till and luka looking devastatingly pretty as is custom. the music starts and till takes over the performance with a heart wrenching ballad amounting to “what the fuck. why the fuck. what the fuck” and luka is just like wtf and near the end of the song, till gives up. what’s the point? what use is fighting anymore? and when the music meets a natural lull, over the speakers comes from somewhere off-stage, a haunting rendition of my clematis in minor key “oh, my clematis // hope bloomed through the abyss” and a giant hole is blasted into the side of the stadium and as the smoke clears, mizi marches in with the fury of god in her eyes and hyuna is right behind her punching aliens left and right, the rebellion members streaming in. the stadium erupts into chaos, alien blood and guts flying every which way and there stands till lonesome on the stage. and if that’s not enough, ivan walks on stage bc he faked his death with the resistance or smth it was all part of the plan to get to this moment here and he gets to kiss till silly for real this time
