why the fuck do people steal things from you and act like they're the victim

my bsf has done this to me 3 times. all recently.

my other friend giving me a salad? stolen. i try to take it back immediately because i don't like my fucking stuff being taken and she tries to keep it and is then all silent afterwards like when she's normally upset.

writing a note for myself? stolen. i tell her to give it back and try to grab it and (after she tries to keep it again) i take it and she puts her head down and is silent.

my sketchbook literally just being within arms reach? taken out of my pencil pouch and once again refuses to give it back. "i just wanted to look" ok then fucking ask???

i really want to confront her about this and ask her to stop but i don't know how and i know that

1. i can get aggressive a lot when something upsets me

2. she can be sensitive to yelling even if the person yelling says they're not mad or smth

i know (i think) she isn't intending to be mean, so i don't want to upset her, but i just want to ask her to stop and i dont fucking know how.
