i hate the humble use of "we" in every single article like this. i'm not the one who chose to make money off of knowingly releasing so many PFAS into the environment that it's irreversibly polluted now. no normal person did. even in the most severe circumstances they're too cucked to even politely point a finger at the people who were and are actively stealing the clean water.
"Cousins" is the scientist who did the study - he's making a generalised statement not being too "cucked", his study was not about who did what but about the impact it has had. He is very unlikely to be part of it either! This overzealous anger towards anyone talking about climate change, even briefly, in any fashion thats not just whacking out "its capitalisms fault!" Is so counterproductive.

Sorry to go off its just that a) this feels very unfair to him - he is a chemical researcher who does a lot of work on climate change (from what I gathered from his twitter) just being dunked on here and b) it totally undermines the point when people are actually deflecting the real cause to just go off at someone for using a collective pronoun.
