I hate how everybody expects me to choose labels for my identity and fit me into a box in general but the ones that boil my blood the most are "are you afab or amab?" because these are labels you can't opt out of. These are labels you can't just say "no" to. These are words which are now being used specifically so people can put you in the blue or the pink box. I used the term "nonbinary" or rather just don't label myself at all BECAUSE then I could escape having to use a label for my assigned sex at birth. Labels are meant to be optional because they are there for you yourself to understand. Not for other peoples comfort, but your understanding of your own identity. And now to ask me the question "are you afab or amab?", two labels that aren't optional, and are required to be chosen, I am immediately going to assume you are not worth my time
