😨 FEARFUL - when scared, do they go into "flight" or "fight"?

FLIGHT for sureee no doubt about it. one of the core beliefs that amor’s held for as long as he can remember is that humans are a threat that he’s powerless against in any meaningful capacity, no matter how much they want to play hero. and this.. has not changed with the telepathyOS update. when they fight, they fight quick and dirty to get away as fast as possible, but that’s only when they’re expecting it; the first instinct, if given the opportunity, is to run. when he stumbles across Ortega at Parkfield, he books it without a second thought (or a first thought honestly lol) and when his own supposedly unconscious body wakes up and calls him by his puppet’s name, they take off running all the way to the other side of town. honestly I think getting puppetstuck itself is also running away in a sense? evading the fallout of everything that’s about to crash down on his head. dr mortum hates him, hollow ground wants him dead, ortega knows that he’s involved now and his real body’s legs are mangled but boy if he won’t make it out of there even if it’s as someone else, and that’s all that matters! if you’re fast enough the consequences of your actions won’t be able to catch up trust meee

📸 CAMERA - do they enjoy having their picture taken? what's their go-to pose? do they like taking photos? what do they take photos of?

as is the duty of every runaway government asset amor does NOT like cameras at all but pre hb he would make an occasional exception for his friends… and even then that would only apply if they’re taking pictures With him not of him. he’s not something to be observed in isolation but rather as part of a larger context of humanity, otherwise you’re just taking a picture of a mirror that has nothing to reflect. which is a pretentious way of saying he is very bad at posing for a photo so he relies on the other people he’s taking the photo with to figure out what he’s supposed to be doing LOL butttt he does want to be remembered in some small way by the people he cares about so this much should be fine right… right?

on the flip side he used to LOVE taking photos!! cameras were one of his favourite things to tinker with too and he had fun taking the time to fix the busted up one he ended up carrying around. as for subject matter… ephemeral things? clouds and sunsets and graffiti on a dilapidated building, flowers growing out of the concrete, that kind of thing (have to add at least some manic pixie dream girl energy to Ortega’s dead wife montage right?) these photos would be the one thing he’d really want back post hb

3. amor doesn’t reallyyy remember much of his so-called ‘childhood’ at the Farm, most of it he repressed after running away. he didn’t want to think about it, this was his chance at a fresh start and nothing good would come of trying to dig that up. out of sight out of mind, right? it was left as a blurry mess in his mind, flashes of words and people he should remember but doesn’t. the common thread is a gnawing emptiness, a desperate need for attention, affection, anything at all. trying to catch a sliver of something sincere between the numbers and dampeners and coming up empty.. but he learned that kind words and gestures meant as little as the smile he wore during missions, and he wanted something real for once.

as for the second time around… he thinks of it as punishment, not for running away to play human, but for leaving everyone else behind. turns out the past has a habit of returning if you just try to pretend it’s not there! he’d try to focus on the mistreatment of the other regenes instead of his own, even though at the end of the day, it was more of a projection than something concrete he picked up, since he couldn’t get close enough to actually read their minds through the shields. being back at the farm reminded him that he was never human, and he abandoned his kin for nothing but selfish reasons. a part of him was reluctant to escape again the second time because if they didn’t run all the… experiments on him, someone else would take his place, and he’d already failed them enough. overall, just a mess of guilt and heartbreak’s seed of rage she left behind. for amor, it’s always been easier to think of other people instead of what was happening to him. a reminder this isn’t about him. it never was!
