With one hand on Kate’s shoulder, Yelena gently prompted her to kneel down again. Kate’s fingers trembled as she wrapped the tape around Yelena’s thigh again, making a mental note of the number this time. Before she could pull away, however, Yelena’s hand covered her own. “Those will be sleeping shorts. I feel like they should be shorter, no?” She guided Kate’s hand a little higher on her thigh. “Here.” Right. Kate swallowed, her mouth suddenly dry. When she straightened up, Yelena’s face was flushed, her eyes shining with barely concealed amusement as she smiled. “I think you’re trying to kill me,” Kate whispered, too low for the boom microphones to pick it up.
