As an autistic person, you can literally tell someone "I mean this genuinely and literally and this is all genuinely good faith. I mean this all completely neutrally, I'm not implying anything else and this is all extremely literal and good faith" and someone will still misconstrue you in ways you never thought was possible.

Misogynists kill women every day in their homes, at their jobs, when they're pregnant, when they're just trying to transition in peace, when they solicit them for sex work, when they're walking down the street, when they're at school, when they're sleeping, when they're begging them not to, when theyre colonizing their countries, when they're abusing their children, and sometimes they do it with their fists and sometimes they do it with assault rifles. To reduce it to anything less serious than that is shameful.

Stop just asking "is it normal?" and start asking "is it harming anyone?" Lots of harmful things are normalized in this society and lots of things considered weird or rare are completely harmless. Whether something is considered normal or common shouldn't be the deciding factor in whether it's okay
