INDEFINITE HIATUS.

          everyone thinks i should pretend i’m not sad just because shay’s happy. it’s like we’re hurting and we’re not allowed to talk about our pain because it makes them uncomfortable. we have to care about everyone’s feelings — unless our feelings are hurting their feelings, then we’re not allowed to have any feelings.

i apologize to everyone i’ve disappointed with this decision but i hope you can understand. if i decide to come back, i’ll gladly revive any plots with anyone who’s interested but for right now, i won’t be back on here. i’m sorry but i need to do whats best for me and once something that should be fun makes me feel awful, that’s when it’s time to step back.

around this time last year i found out someone who played a big part in raising me when i was a kid was brutally murdered. i didn’t take it well and this year makes a year since it happened. my depression has gotten worse and i can barely get out of bed and function most days, let alone socialize. so if anyone has tried to contact me and your messages have gone unanswered, i promise i’m not ignoring you and it’s nothing personal. i’ve just been going through it. mental illness is a bitch and some days are harder than others. 

               jude loves his family more than anything, i’ll preface with that because it’s true. family will always come first for him. no matter how much he does love them, he can’t help but feel like he’s an outsider. his family is made up of sociable people and he’s not very social at all. he prefers to keep to himself and isn’t one to put himself out there.

               when it comes to his parents, he has a similar personality and interests to julian so they bond over those kinds of things. he’ll always pick julian for family game nights and back him up when it comes to certain movie/games/etc. he knows julian is going to support him no matter what he does and he finds that comforting. in a way he looks up to his dad, he hopes he can be half the man he is someday.

              when it comes to brooke, he knows she worries about him to an extent. he tries to put himself out there and make a friend to get her to worry less because it makes him feel guilty. he appreciates how both his mother and his father put out an effort to get to know what he’s into and pay attention to him. whenever he can do something to make them worry less, he makes the effort even if it pushes his own boundaries of comfort.

               jude loves his twin and stupid jokes he makes aside jude considers davis his best friend but he’s spent his life living in his shadow. he’s a big, popular sports star and jude can never match or live up to that. he doesn’t play sports. he isn’t popular. he finds going through high school as ‘davis’ loser twin’ hard and he does have a bit of resentment deep down because of it. he just wants to be viewed as his own person and not the disappointing version of someone else. 

               being in the closet makes it harder for him to open up completely with davis and even his parents. while he has his walls up all the time and isn’t much of socializer or full of charm and charisma, he doesn’t feel like he’s necessarily normal but he certainly doesn’t feel like he fits into tree hill and he feels lost but, he wouldn’t change his family at all.

after the tragedy that struck the  WIZARDING WORLD  following the events of the last triwizard tournament in 1994, it’s surprising that the ministry would approve the competition to be held again just twenty-two years later.     the tournament typically calls for one student from each of the three prominent magical institutes  –––  hogwarts, durmstrang,  &  beauxbatons, respectively  –––  to be randomly selected by the  GOBLET OF FIRE  to compete in a series of treacherous tasks.    the last wizard standing is promised the ultimate trifecta of rewards: 1000 galleons, the triwizard cup,  &   eternal glory.

hogwarts is once again hosting the tournament, the annual  YULE BALL  will be held on christmas day,  &  camaraderie among the three competing schools is outwardly encouraged yet inwardly frowned upon.     however, this year, things are a little different.     instead of one  CHAMPION  being selected from each of the three schools, the goblet will now double the amount of students picked compete in the tournament  –––  two males from durmstrang, two females from beauxbatons,  &  a male  &  a female from hogwarts.

the quest for  ETERNAL GLORY  will be filled to the brim with trials  &  tribulations in this tournament that not only has students fighting for a reward  –––  but for their lives as well.
