Witty suggested I tried my hand at reverse altean/galra Keith and Lance. So I struggled through some designs, and Iâm very happy with theM. Long hair keith is a must ofc. Iâm also obsessed with those gem earrings so they go on every altean design i make, welp For lance, I wanted a more blue color that (hopefully) still screams galra. Acxa was a lot of inspiration. Typical hitman too gay to take out his mark au
Something I think about from time to time is that a lot of people throughout my life have claimed Iâm more uhâŠ. ânoticeableâ (???) than other people. A lot of times as a kid Iâd get in trouble for whispering too loudly backstage at plays and other kids and adults would rally around me and say âshe was being just as quiet as everyone elseâ and the stage manager would say âwell her voice is the only one I heard.â
Anyway it never really stuck out to me until I was living in Norway and the house was separated into the upstairs and downstairs with extremely insulated walls and a carefully sealed door because the upstairs bedrooms werenât heated and everyone hung out downstairs in the living room by the wood stove.
And one day I came through the door and everyone in the entire living room was turned to look at me and I felt self conscious obviously and I was like âuh whatâŠ.â and they looked a little confused and they all said âoh nothingâ and went back to their business
But it went on like that all the time. Any time I came through a door, from upstairs or outside or the kitchen, everyone was always turned to look at me and I was always a little freaked out and they were definitely noticing it too and theyâd always just sort of acknowledge it with a laugh then go back to whatever they were doing
and I started trying to walk super quietly and make no noise but it was always the same and one day one of them said
âOk. I donât know why, but I always know when youâre coming, even if I donât hear you.â
He said it like it was weird, because it WAS, but then Everyone else laughed and started agreeing like âyes!!! Me too!! I know when she is coming!â
And I was obviously like hey uh what does that MEAN? Do you mean you hear me? Like distinct footsteps??
And they all said no, they just get some âsenseâ or âfeelingâ that Iâm about to come through the door or come home, and they canât explain it but they always just get the feeling to turn to look and Iâll be there and then I am. I was like hello???? But they all said I shouldnât worry about it because ultimately it doesnât matter and after a few more minutes they all just let it go.
But this HAUNTS me
I have the exact opposite problem where people (especially at work) wonât notice me entering a space and will get exaggeratedly startled when they see me or I speak to them. Every single time theyâre like âyouâre so quiet!! You snuck up on me!!â Even when I had made a deliberate effort to loudly stomp up the stairs and close the door firmly so theyâd have some warning before I started talking, somehow my quiet energy overcame the actual noises I was making.
We put too many stats into charisma and stealth respectively

i honestly have no idea why anyone would ever want to be a famous celebrity or an âââinfluencerâââ for a career in today's world because i, speaking as the dumbest person i know, would not be able to handle seeing all my half-brained decisions put out on display to the entire world. like i would not be able to read a tmz article about me being in the grocery store for three hours and leaving with nothing but cranberry juice and paper towels. or the time i ran straight through a roundabout because i thought it was a speed bumpâŠ.and stan people on twitter would be dissecting my every move like âthis must be an outward manifestation of inner turmoil from a complex mindâ like no!!! iâm dumb!!! none of this goes any deeper than me just being my normal dumb self!! anyway what a nightmareÂ
i like how writing realistic worlds and characters is so important for so many writers to the point where they agonize over it. meanwhile lemony snicket was just like âdeath to reality. im gonna write this whole ass series and with god as my witness, absolutely fucking NOBODY is gonna act like a person.â
Daniel Handler, after downing whatever the hell he was on: The baby has piranha teeth and can take a trained swordswoman in a fight.Â
All of us: Fucking genius.Â
older lotr illustrations sometimes depict Ă©owyn wearing ridiculously small armour. apart from the problem general sexualisation of the only female character (who really does anything), thereâs another hilarious thought:
Ă©owyn pretended to be dernhelm, a man. to fit in, she must have worn menâs armor. so the armor in the illustrations is normal for rohirrim.
therefore, all the rohirrim rode to war just like that:
thereâs a thundering sound in the distance as the rohirrim ride into war but rather than hoofbeats itâs the collective sound of all their cheeks clapping
the artist for this particular piece is Frank Frazetta and to be fair to him this is how he drew the orcs armorÂ
so the rohirrim comment is probably not that far off
THIS TAG KNOCKED ME OUT

And? Tag my post with pedophilia again. I dare you. Iâll press charges for defamation of character.
screencapped and emailed to my lawyer. She will have filed charges by tomorrow afternoon. By law We must allow you 48 hours to remove the offending material. If not, you will be charged with defamation of character, libel, and criminal mischief, all misdemeanors. You will face a judge trial.
Donât think you wonât be found either. That email with the cap also includes your Dox, which will not be shared publicly. Iâve also forwarded this material to the local FBI field office. They take false accusations of pedophilia VERY seriously. Especially when your uncle is a high ranking Homicide Detective with good friends in the FBI, the US Marshals Office, and the NSA.Â
hey guys! with this post reaching almost 100k notes, iâd like to inform everyone that sakura (evil-loli-bitch-from-hell) has been reported to the authorities for possession of child pornography and is hopefully being arrested soon.

As an autistic boy, I approve.
THIS NEEDS MORE NOTES
This so beautiful and so is that dude <3
This kid is amazing, but an important part got left out here!
He got his lifetime supply of peanut butter, and then, during the shutdown he offered jars to furloughed workers during the shutdown! His dad was furloughed, and he wanted to help other families, so from his first pallet of PB, he worked it out with Lidl that any furloughed worker could come and get 3 jars from his personal stash.
We should all be more like Bean.
Even funnier thing to imagine: resurrecting Diogenes too and telling him that âPlatonicâ relationships means not fucking, heâd probably laugh himself back to death.
So I actually know the origin of this term because it came up when I studied Plato in my classes. Basically, in ancient Greece it was a super common practice for teachers to fuck their students. Like all the time. It was considered a way for the student to âpayâ the teacher. Plato thought this was bullshit. He felt that a student could not properly learn from someone who was truly only interested in having sex with them. He didnât fuck his students and derided those who did. Other teachers who refused to fuck their students were said to have âplatonicâ teaching relationships with them â so named because they were following Platoâs example. So the reason itâs called a Platonic relationship is because Plato was heavily anti-teachers-fucking-their-students and itâs one of the few things he was ever even remotely correct about.
What if the world⊠Were minecraft
Iâm on page nine right now and this book is fucking weird likeâŠill admit I skimmed some of the Minecraft fan books and they just tried to be like fantasy novels but in minecraft land but this dude in here is like âuh the dirt is square and I have logs for armsâ I canât tell if this is genius or what
The guy is pissed that heâs punching the grass and canât grab it
He Contemplates the Flat Apple
This dude is talking about how shit he breaks becomes like flat objects and he stacks them in his pocket like playing cards this is fucking
This is what Iâm reading btw
Shut the FUCK up Max Brooks wrote this?
seeing âmax brooks, bestselling author of world war zâ attatched to âminecraftâ was like feeling a sledgehammer being swung into my balls at maximum speed and power
i have this book, itâs pretty good because unlike most minecraft novelizations itâs written from the perspective of someone who doesnât know shit or fuck about minecraft
Jack Black did the audiobook and listening to it is a spiritual experience
Tumblr just rolled out a group chat feature. They apparently appear at random for you to join, and the messages disappear after 24 hours. And they have random themes. The one Iâm in right now is DnD themed with tumblrbot randomly suggesting bad DnD jokes.
Tumblr literally thought this site needs a luminal space that functional effectively as a PvP zone you randomly spawn into against your will.
This is incredible. Literally I could not have predicted this.Iâm fucking reeling.

24 Invaluable Skills To Learn For Free Online This Year
Hereâs an easy resolution: This stuff is all free as long as you have access to a computer, and the skills you learn will be invaluable in your career, and/or life in general.Â
1. Become awesome at Excel.
Chandoo is one of many gracious Excel experts who wants to share their knowledge with the world. Excel excellence is one of those skills that will improve your chances of getting a good job instantly, and it will continue to prove invaluable over the course of your career. What are you waiting for?
2. Learn how to code.
littleanimalgifs.tumblr.com
Perhaps no other skill you can learn for free online has as much potential to lead to a lucrative career. Want to build a site for your startup? Want to build the next big app? Want to get hired at a place like BuzzFeed? You should learn to code. There are a lot of places that offer free or cheap online coding tutorials, but I recommend Code Academy for their breadth and innovative program. If you want to try a more traditional route, Harvard offers its excellent Introduction to Computer Science course online for free.
3. Make a dynamic website.
You could use a pre-existing template or blogging service, or you could learn Ruby on Rails and probably change your life forever. Hereâs an extremely helpful long list of free Ruby learning tools that includes everything from Rails for Zombies to Learn Ruby The Hard Way. Go! Ruby! Some basic programming experience, like one of the courses above, might be helpful (but not necessarily required if youâre patient with yourself).
4. Learn to make a mobile game.
If youâre not interested in coding anything other than fun game apps, you could trythis course from the University of Reading. It promises to teach you how to build a game in Java, even if you donât have programming experience! If you want to make a truly great game, you might want to read/listen up on Game Theory first.
5. Start reading faster.
Spreeder is a free online program that will improve your reading skill and comprehension no matter how old you are. With enough practice, you could learn to double, triple, or even quadruple the speed at which you read passages currently, which is basically like adding years to your life.
6. Learn a language!
With Duolingo, you can learn Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, or English (from any of the above or more). Thereâs a mobile app and a website, and the extensive courses are completely free.
Full disclosure: BuzzFeed and other websites are in a partnership with DuoLingo, but they did not pay or ask for this placement.
7. Pickle your own vegetables.
Tired of your farmerâs market haul going bad before you use it all? Or do you just love tangy pickled veggies? You too can pickle like a pro thanks to SkillShare and Travis Grillo.
8. Improve your public speaking skills.
You can take the University of Washingtonâs Intro to Public Speaking for free online. Once you learn a few tricks of the trade, youâll be able to go into situations like being asked to present at a company meeting or giving a presentation in class without nearly as much fear and loathing.
9. Get a basic handle of statistics.
UC Berkeley put a stats intro class on iTunes. Once you know how to understand the numbers yourself, youâll never read a biased ânewsâ article the same way again â 100% of authors of this post agree!
10. Understand basic psychology.
Knowing the basics of psych will bring context to your understanding of yourself, the dynamics of your family and friendships, whatâs really going on with your coworkers, and the woes and wonders of society in general. Yale University has its Intro to Psychology lectures online for free.
11. Make your own music.
Step one: Learn how to play guitar: Justin Guitar is a fine and free place to start learning chords and the basic skills youâll need to be able to play guitar â from there, itâs up to you, but once you know the basics, just looking up tabs for your favorite songs and learning them on your own is how many young guitar players get their start (plus itâs an excellent party trick).
Step two: A delightful free voice lesson from Berklee College Of Music.
Step three: Have you always thought you had an inner TSwift? Berklee College of Music offers an Introduction to Songwriting course completely for free online. The course is six weeks long, and by the end of the lesson youâll have at least one completed song.
Step four: Lifehackerâs basics of music production will help you put it all together once you have the skills down! Youâll be recording your own music, ready to share with your valentine or the entire world, in no time!
12. Learn to negotiate.
Let Stanfordâs Stan Christensen explain how to negotiate in business and your personal life, managing relationships for your personal gain and not letting yourself be steamrolled. There are a lot of football metaphors and itâs great.
13. Stop hating math.
If you struggled with math throughout school and now have trouble applying it in real-world situations when it crops up, try Saylor.orgâs Real World Math course. It will reteach you basic math skills as they apply IRL. Very helpful!
14. Start drawing!
All kids draw â so why do we become so afraid of it as adults? Everyone should feel comfortable with a sketchbook and pencil, and sketching is a wonderful way to express your creativity. DrawSpace is a great place to start. (I also highly recommend the book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain if you can drop a few dollars for a used copy.)
15. Make your own animated GIF.
BuzzFeedâs own Katie Notopoulos has a great, simple guide to making an animated GIF without Photoshop. This is all you need to be the king or queen of Tumblr or your favorite email chains.
16. Appreciate jazz.
reddit.com
Have you never really âgottenâ jazz? If you want to be able to participate in conversations at fancy parties and/or just add some context to your appreciation of all music, try this free online course from UT Austin.
17. Write well.
Macalester Collegeâs lecture series is excellent. If youâre more interested in journalism, try Wikiversityâs course selection.
18. Get better at using Photoshop.
Another invaluable skill that will get you places in your career, learning Photoshop can be as fun as watching the hilarious videos on You Suck At Photoshop or as serious as this extensive Udemy training course (focused on photo retouching).
19. Take decent pictures.
Lifehackerâs basics of photography might be a good place to start. Learn how your camera works, the basic of composition, and editing images in post-production. If you finish that and youâre not sure what to do next, hereâs a short course on displaying and sharing your digital photographs.
20. Learn to knit.
Instructables has a great course by a woman who is herself an online-taught knitter. Youâll be making baby hats and cute scarves before this winterâs over!
21. Get started with investing in stocks.
If you are lucky enough to have a regular income, you should start learning about savings and investment now. Investopedia has a ton of online resources, including this free stocks basics course. Invest away!
22. Clean your house in a short amount of time.
Unf$#k Your Habitat has a great emergency cleaning guide for when your mother-in-law springs a surprise visit on you. While youâre over there, the entire blog is good for getting organized and clean in the long term, not just in âemergencies.â Youâll be happier for it.
23. Start practicing yoga.
Most cities have free community classes (try just searching Google or inquiring at your local yoga studio), or if youâre more comfortable trying yoga at home, YogaGlohas a great 15-day trial and Yome is a compendium of 100% free yoga videos. If youâre already familiar with basic yoga positions but you need an easy way to practice at home, I recommend YogaTailorâs free trial as well.
24. Tie your shoelaces more efficiently.
Itâs simple and just imagine the minutes of your life youâll save!
