ohhh nonny thank you!!! idk what i've done to suddenly get some of this love but i truly appreciate it.

as for other fic, the short answer is yes, and the longer answer is: i have i thiiiink 4 WIP docs saved right now? and notes for at least 2-3 more stories. but i am in probably the busiest stretch of summer and i just do not have time to sit down and write right now.

and writing does take time - when i was writing "you're one of my kind" i had a night where i locked in in a bonkers way, wrote for about 6 hours straight, didn't eat dinner (despite the yelling of multiple friends) and basically just could not stop and even that wasn't the full 12K+ words of the story, and still took another 2 weeks or so for me to edit and polish.

come mid-august i think things slow down again and i have some hope of having enough time to sit and write and i really, really look forward to it. but right now i'm burning the candle at pretty much every end. I hope what I already have published can tide you over until I have time to produce new words! they're in there, I promise.

ETA: LOL I just remembered on that crazy YOOMK lock-in day, I also could not get the thoughts out of my head at work so I just ignored pretty much every single actual story I was supposed to be working on and wrote non-stop in an email to myself and just told people i was working on a project when they asked.

I also, back in the day (and at a previous job), had this experience with "we together make a limb." back then i was working a night shift and was writing before work on a very rainy morning and suddenly everything clicked into place and i could not stop so i just texted my boss, said i was dealing with a house issue, and went into work an hour late after getting all the words i needed to out.

boss make a dollar, i make a dime, so i write fic on company time.
