Bilal @bilal-salah0 has been threatened with deportation on August 15th and he will be completely unable to campaign for his family after that. He cannot afford to wait around for people's generosity - he needs help NOW!

Bilal is a 22 year old Palestinian who left to Germany before the war started and due to an issue with his visa he was stripped of his job and housing and threatened with imminent deportation. Meanwhile, his family - including very young children and infants - are being bombarded in Gaza.

Despite this horror, he has continued to campaign for not just his own family but many other Palestinian families on Tumblr. Read his most recent update here, and follow his account to keep up with him and the families he supports.

I've been messaging back and forth with @mohammedalanqer after he shared his fundraiser with me, and very quickly into our conversation I offered to draw a comic about him to help boost his gofundme. he was incredibly excited about the idea and shared so many lovely pictures of his family for reference. the text is based off his story of him and his family living under constant bombardment, which you can read here.
