FLY is a story about a boy who gets a second chance. Help his story take flight June 9th 11am EST on Kickstarter. Thank you for being the wind beneath my wings I hope this story lifts the world to a brighter place.
A coming of age story about Black kids who finally have power to fight back against systems designed against them.
Severe lack of Clark and Mary art on this website so I must pick up my pen and draw in swiftness, hopefully encourage others to do the same. It's really a shame because they definitely had the most interesting and robust relationship/depth in this movie.

When I was in 5th grade a girl told me that âblack boys couldnât be prettyâ it took me a long time to see something worthwhile in the mirror
Sex scene as character study is so good. What is your relationship to your body? What is your relationship to your partner? What lessons have you absorbed from the culture about yourself as a sexual being? How much do you have to trust someone before being comfortable with intimacy? What fears and insecurities come to the fore for you when you take your clothes off? It's so good.
How do they communicate? How do they expect others to communicate? How well do they understand their body and their own capacity for pleasure? What do they tend to do to make their partner feel comfortable? How comfortable are they showing emotion in front of others? How much insight do they have into what their own emotions mean and are connected to? What are they focused on during the encounter? How conscious are they of exchanges of power and vulnerability? very very very good
What do they assume from context and what do they know from experience? What roles are they socially expected to play vs what roles do they think they are expected to play, vs what roles do they want to play vs what roles do they actually play?
If they at any point during the encounter have the thought or emotional impulse of "how would my partner describe this to one of their friends later?", what happens? What would it mean to them to be caught in the act by a stranger? A friend? An enemy? How would they relate to catching someone else in the act?
We're getting there little by little, sure. But it's a road.
Anyway happy international asexuality day back to work I go
"girls could NeVeR!!1!1! beat '''''males''''''⢠in athletics????? it's BiOlOgY!??!?!?"
idk bud have you tried um. feeding them
these murderous idiots are teaching young girls and women to be afraid of calories when eating a LOT of calories is literally vital for performing well in competitive sports. and then claiming it's 'natural' to uphold sex segregation bc of this imposed malnutrition. it's fucking crazymaking.
the mechanics here are truly horrific. systematically deny [cis] women athletes adequate nutrition and hydration, overwork and injure them. deprive them of the ability to realize the true extent of their strength and skill. segregate athletics based on false ideas of "sex" based on generations of malnourishment and poor training. blame trans woman athletes for the mere possibility that one might beat a cis woman, while claiming that the cis woman's defeat is inevitable. create emotionally stressful and often sexually humiliating tests to "purify" competitive athletics rather than foster the physical health of athletes. continue punishing all women for daring to play sports + have bodies.

goodnight

Just saw someone say that âwell, if everyone is arguing about having a month (talking about black history month) then no one should have one!â And I really try not to interact with people like that but it just continuously proves that people either donât care or just simply not educated enough to understand why itâs there in the first place.
Black people have been HEAVILY unrepresented and hated upon for years. It is good to show recognition and appreciation to the black people that have contributed and shown that we are more than just âex slavesâ and hurt and struggle. Itâs great to recognize where we came from and where we are now. To recognize the hands that help shaped our society. The culture we have in America. To honor black people from all periods of U.S. history. We were forced into to this country and had nothing but the traditions brought over, and now weâre doctors, scientists, entertainers. Isnât that amazing? Isnât that worth celebration? My grandfather (not great grandfather, my grandfather, my motherâs dad,) was a world war 2 vet and I so wish I got to hear him speak about his experience in Okinawa. I wasnât old enough to ask him, but I remember he had pictures of the boat he was on and some of the guys he worked with. He then got his masters in pharmacology and got his PhD where he then married my grandmother who was a white woman. Of course, thereâs a lot more to his story, but all this to say that he has LIVED. His life and experiences is worth celebrating and Iâll be damned if I sit and listen to another person say black Americans donât deserve this type of recognition and respect. Happy black history month yall.
