hijab is not a term for a scarf hijab means modesty and even men have their own version of hijab in islam, using this type of terminology is harmful as some ppl may feel like they are not ‘good muslims’ because they wear a ‘shayla’ instead of a ‘hijab’ ALL OF THESE ARE CONSIDERED A HIJAB yes there are different types (like the niqab and burqa) but a hijab is just a covering which are all of these
