I love how some stuff in the earlier chapters of the GSC arc are setup for future use in the last volume, here are two examples (I don't think there are others but if there are please show me)
Like here when gold is playing billiards in his house in the very first chapter and he is playing the radio. A cover of a song made by DJ Mary is playing and we get to see a few of the lyrics
Then in the last chapter we see this song play again in the crack between space and time, and we find out it was originally written to help pryce cope with the loss of his pokemon (it did not help back then). We get the full lyrics now, which are:
"ripples in the waves, battles in the brain"
"can you read my mind? Can you ease the strain?"
"carry me across the sea"
"carry me to days gone by"
"let me feel what I felt then"
"love the ones you have lost"
"love the ones you have lost"
"love the times you knew"
"but new life now has to come along and back to where life starts"
"rippling waves will bring me home"
"rippling waves will bring with me"
"rippling waves, rippling waves..."
The translation of the original japanese lyrics is different in the Chuang Yi edition, but I honestly don't know how to read the text from the questionable quality scans I currently have so I'll do that another day
The other example is the incorrect wanted poster for Silver that Gold helped to make back in chapter 94.
This is used, once again, in the very end of the arc when Silver is about to be reported to the police after being under the impression Gold is dead. Then Gold suddenly returns and hands Green (m) the poster from the beginning claiming he "has the wrong person"
Idk man don't mind me this is pretty obvious and noticeable stuff but I just wanted to talk about it briefly
