This is a small compilation from my X account c;

Personally, it used to be Yellow chapter, I liked that it always felt like the protagonists were always under attack and seeing them manage to escape danger, plus that battle with Lance and Yellow on top of Cerise Island's volcano was iconic.

But I feel things felt even tougher for the protagonists in XY. While the Kanto E4 had their henchmen, Flare literally owns Kalos and has so many people in their pocket the protags just never feel safe, and like they can only trust each other, and even that gets tested a bit with the Essentia Suit. (It's also the biggest contributor to why Flare is my favorite villain team now. They really built on how much power they had as an organization and a lot of their attacks on the kids had a brutal or psychological edge that made them scary, and seeing them getting their asses collectively whooped in the finale was super satisfying.)

I haven't drawn Black in ages, and I figured what better way to get back to it than drawing him in the outfit he's gonna be wearing in my post-canon BW fic? It's funny, I used to draw him so much that my muscle memory still kicked in even after all these years.....

I also used this opportunity to draw some mini chibis and strange angles that I wouldn't normally go for! I hope it turned out okay..

Some fun facts regarding his outfit: -White picked it out! She made sure to pick something not too far out of his comfort zone, though.

-He still wears his hat... Mainly because he doesn't wanna deal with his uncontrollable hair all the time.

-FINGERLESS GLOVES ARE COOL DONT @ ME!!!

-The compression shirt just felt right but that might be bc im re-reading JJK right now HAHA
