btw it really warms my heart that in campaign 4 the "half" siblings just refer to each other as siblings. hal briefly clarifies that he and thjazi had the same dad but different moms and that's it, that's still his fucking brother through and through. elodie refers to shadia as hero's sister without missing a beat because that's what she is, and when hal is talking to her about the three of them fleeing the city he calls them "our daughters" because that's what they are to both of them. i have "half" siblings and it's just really nice to see them called brothers and sisters with the occasional Lineage Clarification Comment thrown in there because that's so fucking accurate and i genuinely can't remember a piece of media that treats siblinghood like that.

The thing is, it really is a SPECTACULAR plan, it clears the board so efficiently, IF. everything goes perfectly. And this is, ultimately, the problem with sorcerers. Even when they're clever, they're one trick ponies. They don't think about CONTINGENCIES. You know who thinks about contingencies? Wizards. Paladins. Even bards and warlocks, on occasion.
