love when artists posts "a quick sketch" or a "doodle" or a "wip" and it's like, the most gorgeous evocative thing you've ever seen
whereas for a me as a fic writer, the equivalent would be three pages of notes in no discernible order whatsoever, everyone's names are just initials and half the time those aren't even right, there are multiple contradictory lines of dialogue right next to each other, typos are strewn everywhere from hastily fumbling with my phone right out of the shower before thoughts disappear (and good luck deciphering those), there's nuclear codes somewhere in there, probably

I mean, in some very interesting Technically Correct ways, they didn't actually die? Now, they're very much no longer alive. But the forces involved are such that they didn't get any of the usual cellular processes of death, they simply went from biology to physics in less time than it takes a signal to travel down your optic nerve.
