Please tell me that I am not insane and that Vivi and Robin's reunion will be of great importance for the story and their personal relationship... I just watched that part of Egghead and couldn't help but think about how much their destinies are intertwined - from Arabaste until now. It can't be a coincidence that all those years ago the two were on the opposing sides and now, with that insane lore drop, their goals are very much connected. Surely, Oda will not forget the fact that Robin was the one to leak all those information about Baroque Works to Vivi in the first place, especially now that Robin can once again do the same but in different circumstances, right? The fact that we all were certain that Vivi would join the crew, only to be replaced by Robin in the last moment will count for something, right? RIGHT?! PLEASE TELL ME I AM NOT READING TO MUCH INTO THIS!!!

i like when fiction treats love as a more complicated force and not something that is inherently pure or redemptive. portray it as flawed and complex as any other human impulse. give me love as prejudice, love as possessive stasis, love as addiction, love as blindness, etc.
