yes, i am perfectly aware that matsukawa is a strange character to pick out of the bunch. but i couldn’t help but feel that this would be a particularly interesting matchup, and i just /had/ to go with my gut on this one.

he is typically seen as intimidating and quiet but is pretty easy-going and likes to poke fun at people he’s close with. you two seem to be similar in that way and i feel your alike mannerisms would make for a really great understanding type of relationship. there’s a lot of growth the two of you could do with each other and i just feel it’ll be incredibly wholesome with a hint of… dare i say pure insanity? anything’s really on the table here.

there’s definitely a soft fun side to him so he would enjoy playing video games with you, baking with you, anything. he’s also shown to be fairly smart so your future career choice would interest him as well. he’s an extremely involved person.

School was going to be the utter death of you, you couldn’t handle the stress anymore. Everything kept piling and piling, showing no end to the top. You had loads of work for class, your club you were an active member of, and now you had to start thinking about how to go about applying for colleges. It was all becoming too much.

You had your doting boyfriend Iwaizumi by your side at all times, but you didn’t want him to start worrying about you. You didn’t tell him how much stress you were under, and you planned to hide it for as long as you possibly could. You hated the thought of him pitying you and you certainly didn’t want to cause him any trouble.

You spent countless nights working until the early hours of the morning and you knew it was getting bad because dark circles started to take shape underneath your eyes. Iwaizumi would absolutely freak out if he saw how bad they had gotten.

So you did the only responsible thing you could think of and started skipping classes. Skipping certain classes gave you extra time to work on the things you needed to, and you had people within the classes you were skipping keeping you updated on the workflow. It wasn’t a great system since you were still missing out on school time, but you were desperate. It was the only choice you had left.

Of course, your boyfriend started to notice you not showing up to class and disappearing at random points throughout the day. You avoided him almost as much as you skipped class, and part of you didn’t even notice. You were too focused on finishing everything to even take spending time with your boyfriend into account.

Iwaizumi tracked you down the one moment he knew for sure you were at school, and once you saw him starting to approach you, you panicked. You knew you had been flaky lately, and the full realization of it was starting to set in.

“y/n, where have you been going the past week? You’re disappearing from campus and are barely talking to me.” He paused quickly, now staring at your face intensely. “Your undereyes… You’re not sleeping, are you? I’m worried, please don’t leave me in the dark like this.”

He looked so sad. Your eyes started to glaze over and you could feel tears starting to form. You were so stressed you didn’t know what to do. You certainly didn’t want it to ruin your relationship.

You were crying as soon as you had registered the first tears formation, and Iwaizumi had you in his arms just as fast. He pressed into you, his arms wrapped tightly around you. He definitely wasn’t going to let you go. “Don’t cry, it’s okay.” He whispered. “I know you have a lot going on, I do. But I promise you you’ll get through this. I’m by your side. I swear.”

His words caused you to cry harder as he held you still. You had to admit, it was comforting to know he wanted to help you. It meant more to you than he would ever come to understand.

Your eyes widened in complete and utter shock as you watched your boyfriend Akaashi kiss another girl.

Shattered. Everything within you shattered. You couldn't trust him anymore.

Within an instant, Akaashi was whipped around, looking you directly in the eyes. His eyes widened about as much as yours did, and his lips started to move but you couldn't hear the words escaping them. All you could register in the moment was how fast your heart seemed to be beating.

Akaashi had cheated on you, and he knew you saw everything. He didn't even make an attempt to run to you now, or maybe he did, but you wouldn't know. Within the next few seconds, you took off running and crying. You didn't know where you ran off to but once you got there, you slumped yourself up against the nearest wall and continued to cry. You couldn't believe this was actually happening. Akaashi was the last person you would ever expect to cheat.

Days passed without even speaking to Akaashi. There were multiple times where he tried to come up to you, but you walked away immediately. You declined his calls and ignored his texts. You even waved off his friends when they tried to ask you what was going on. The boy really had no shame after hurting you like that.

Maybe you should talk to him long enough to break it off with him. That would be reasonable enough. Though you were so sickened by his actions that you didn't even want to be in front of him.

Your relationship had only been about a month, and the two of you hadn't even uttered an "I love you" yet. But it still hurt like hell. He was loyal— or so you unfortunately thought.

Each second felt slow, and your heart wasn't making any progress. Anxiety filled your mind and sleeping became hard. Focusing was completely out of the question. This was bothering you indefinitely.

Being face to face with Akaashi on the roof after the big incident made you more nervous than anything else ever could. He stared only at you, not averting his gaze in the slightest. You don't think he even blinked. 

"Listen." He began suddenly, drawing in a deep breath. "I didn't kiss her. She came up to me while I was trying to head to my next class. She forced herself on me. I don't know why. She didn't even say anything. So please," He swallowed. "Trust me. I wouldn't ever do something like that to you."

You blinked back tears. "Why should I trust what you're telling me?"

He looked hurt, but you tried to ignore it.

"Because I love you, y/n."

You heart stopped. Akaashi just told you he loved you. He more than liked you. And what kind of guy confesses his love after cheating on his terms? You couldn't think of any.

"Akaashi…"

"Please believe me. I'll do whatever I can to make up for it."

You nodded at his words. "Okay… Then kiss me instead. Right now."

Akaashi slowly began to smile, his eyes lightening. He took a long stride towards you and suddenly he had his arms looped around your waist, drawing you into him. "Your wish is my command."

The hot chocolate in your hands burned them slightly, but you didn't care. You were with the boy you loved, so nothing else actually mattered. You loved him even if he was super into alien conspiracy theories.

You and Oikawa had taken a night out to sit on the roof complete with cups of hot chocolate. Stargazing with him was always the preferred way to spend your nights, as he was almost as beautiful as the moonlight sky splayed out in front of you. The way his eyes shined did something to you, something you could never be able to explain.

"Well," You started, scooting closer into Oikawa. "I think you're right about that."

Oikawa jumped slightly as you began to lean into him. "Yeah." He mumbled, using his free hand to find yours. Once he found it, he laced your fingers together slowly, squeezing your hand. "I just… wanna witness it once. D'ya know how amazing that would be?" He mumbled.

It was cute how into this he was.

"Yeah, I know." You nodded. "One day you will!" You said, a little more enthusiastically.

He squeezed your hand again and took a quick sip of his hot chocolate. "What kind of things do you think are out there, y/n?"

You shrugged slightly. "I mean, anything really. You know how large the universe is. So whatever you can think of, probably exists."

Oikawa laughed. "Yeah, you're right. Sorta wish something visited us here on Earth though. That'd be cool."

"What if it took over Earth?"

"That's just a chance I'm willing to take."

You loved how crazy he sounded. That was why you loved him so much. He was one to say whatever was on his mind without thinking too much, and you appreciated that. He was a wildly talented individual with quirks that just made him even more interesting. You definitely got lucky.

"Hey." You whispered suddenly after a minute of silence.

Oikawa hummed a question, turning his head slightly to look at you.

"I love you." You whispered.

He smiled, the stars illuminating his face. He then buried his face in your collarbone, mumbling an 'I love you' back.

This night was absolutely perfect. The sky was just right. The conversation was as interesting as ever. He was as amazing as ever.

as for the stars, he's a libra and you're a leo ! the pair works actually pretty well together and the two of you compliment each other nicely. not quite a perfect understand, as with anything, but the dynamic is still a great one.

you're both passive and slightly reserved, him being moreso than most. i think you could help him open up and adjust, thus the two of you helping each other out a lot in the end.
