So I peeked at some BookTok (Tiktok viral book recommendations or something) dark romance stuff on youtube and honestly… I still think i’ve read better dark fics back in my ao3 binge days during covid 😅. It’s been forever since i last opened ao3 but now i’m back rereading my old favs esp the dark viktuuri ones. And the funny part is I was never even into mafia aus. but this writer’s dark viktor made me love it, like it opened up a whole new world for me lol. I used to read stuff like this when i was unemployed and isolating during covid and now i’m stressed at work again and reaching for the same comfort reads. No new YOI content in ages but the fics still hit.
