Can we take 7 seconds to appreciate this 360° camera turn of Pinky & The Brain traveling in their version of Da Vinci’s flying machine? Everything seems to be completely and impressively hand drawn…
Gotta appreciate how the animators were putting in their all for this movie, especially since it was the last major Animaniacs production at that time.
I have yet to watch "One-of-a-kind Marcie" (I'm watching it tonight ^^) but so far with having seen "To Mom (And Dad), With Love" and "Welcome Home, Franklin", I think I can say that these films are absolutely the most amazing things I've watched!! <33 Like Peanuts as a franchise was already special to many and I myself have grown such a fondness, for a lack of a better word, for it. But these films make Peanuts so much more beautiful and just simply more, especially with the focus on specific characters

"I've got a Ha'Penny", is probably the happiest song I can think of. For those who don't know a Hay Penny is literally half a US penny. It literally was only around for less than 100 years. So in the movie Wakko worked for a year and comes back with only a Hay Penny, literally nothing, and yet the whole town celebrates that they are finally gonna make it out of poverty. The song has the most childlike feeling, fantastizing the whole song about all the things in the world you can buy like you earned a million dollars, with the context that this orphan child is fantasizing about the things to buy with half a cent.
Its so unbelievably pure. It's the most triumphant melody. Everybody is singing with the most shitfaced grin. Not to mention in the reprise Wakkos Wish is for him to get two haypennies. A cent, and instead of being pissed that the town didn't get like a billion dollars, the town celebrates that theyre going to celebrate getting out of poverty with their whole one cent. And it works!! It truly does reflect the spirit of animaniacs, for who cynical the show can be at times, it also makes sure to present things in the most lighthearted way possible, it really gives you alot of hope
