I was so excited to unlock the last quests in the Marchenghast storyline. But while it was exciting, I was also left quite perplexed, because like... that's it??? Does it really just abrubtly end there? I feel like it was so anticlimactic. The story absolutely DID NOT come to any cohesive ending. I know it's because sse have been so obviously teasing that there'll be more quests in the future and it's only "the end.. for NOW! oOoOo dun dun dunnn" but seriously, c'mon man. There was SO many interesting lore points that were just never explained (what could possibly be their connection to pandoria? Tf is the sixth hammer???) and there was so many exciting things that were teased in the dialogue (going in the castle; confronting the duke; finding out what's behind the numerous mysterious doors around the place, for instance) that we never actually got to experience. And now we're gonna have to wait FOR EVERRR again. Cuz they haven't even finished the bloody MAIN quests π

i feel like i've seen so many people criticise about the norikers,
apparently they look worse and less detailed than other recent horses, even seen somone say they look like gen 2
am i really the only one who thinks they are some of the best looking horses in the game??? the only thing i hate is the sun bleached (?) manes on some of the coats
other than that they have a fantastic blend of realism vs cartoony style, and their animation feels both smooth and impactful, which is exactly what they should be
i feel crazy, like are we seeing the same horse?

I love tall horses and I always caught myself googling the height of horses in sso but no one has made a chart or anything other than stating the shire is the biggest. So i took it upon myself to make a size chart (kinda incomplete but idc) going from small breeds to medium and large, theyβre all in order from left being smallest to right being the tallest.
I tried to base measure from the withers, like youβre supposed to, but i took some liberties to change around a little on the order, because some breeds are very broad with big necks while others and super narrow with shorter necks
I was also surprised to find out the knabstrupper was so tall??
Ik I've kinda stopped posting now, but I just wanted to complain that SSO had been preaching giving us diverse body types fora ages but now the update has come out, it doesn't seem diverse at all??? Sure they've included plus sized but every single body type is the exact same shape... I think that they're forgetting that skinny people exist too; cause I'm quite average but on the small side and even the smallest in-game body type is way to wide for me.
It also devastates me that none of my favourite outfits look good on my character's body anymore! Stuff I used to look so stylish riding in now just looks stretched, awkward and ugly :'(
Plus, the new faces barely look human, especially the eyes (look more like some sort of chipmunks to me).
Overall, I really friggin hate the new characters and I wanna go back. The crustys were so much better T_T
(However the one thing I do love is how nice the updated makeup and hairstyles look- mwah they're so stylish xoxo)
