First Alpha Strike game in a little while. 300 point Recon mission, as the attacker I had to search for and scan buildings for objectives and extract.

300 point Inner Sphere Mercs with a Striker and a Heavy Battle Lance vs my opponents Assault and Light Striker Lances.

Managed to find 2 of three objectives, but with a few lucky crits, my Mercs were mostly boxed-in and MASSACRED! All but this little guy:

My Cicada 3G was the last survivor, AND the one holding all my data. This little bugger managed to zig-zag across the board, dodging every shot from an assault lance with a minimum 10+ to-hit. Finally, after 8 turns and taking down a marauder, he finally got to the home-edge of the board, securing victory, 300-265 VP!

But I prefer some of the designs in MW5 over the catalyst models

Particularly the Orion

You also have to keep in mind a lot of these designs were nabbed from MWO and the HBS battletech game, and retooled for MW5 before Catalyst had their own plastic designs made.
