Hank Olson was going to marry Clementine Willis. Everyone knew that. From the moment they’d met in second grade, Hank had told everyone on the playground, pointing at Clementine. “She’s going to be my wife, someday.” He told them proudly, told the other boys and the teacher and his parents, too. He was going to marry Clementine. Everyone knew that. Didn’t they? Didn’t… She?

“Adam.” Pete read.

“What?” Said Ray. Pete pointed. Beneath a huge picture of Curley, decorated with white lilies, was lettered his full name; Adam ‘Curley’ White.

“I didn’t know his name was Adam.” Pete whispered.

At the tailend of the strip mall off of route 40 sits a slow, crumbling department store called Walker’s. Ray Garraty doesn’t know why he applied to work here, but he did, and that’s how he met Pete. Now he couldn’t imagine a life without clocking in everyday.

Collie Parker never had money growing up, but he sure as hell wasn’t letting his little brother leave for college without a dime in his pocket – which is why he took up the second job at Walker’s. Definitely not because of an odd, foul-mouthed guy he met in his night classes.

Everything changes when 16-year-old Curley dies.

4. Do you save your 'cut scenes' from your fics?

To be totally honest, I don't have cut scenes -- I just write and then post and don't look at it ever again...

17. Do you regularly discuss your fics, or do you keep most of the info to yourself before you start posting?

I think I keep things pretty to myself -- I've been trying to post more about them though, it's exposure therapy :D
