Hi there! I’ve never made a pinned post before so I figure it’s time to make one. I go by Spy online—I’m an artist, animator, and writer, and I love playing banjo. My favorite musical artists are Radical Face, Sufjan Stevens, The Mountain Goats, Jonsi/Sigur Ros, Hozier, Autoheart, Kishi Bashi, and MIKA. I’m pretty reclusive by nature but I enjoy talking to people! Check my FAQ if you like!

Nicknames: Aforementioned Spy! Or Spyro to some. Zap to a few from the olden internet days... Or Suz I guess!

Height: 5'4" ish!

Orientation: Some sort of demisexual sapphic bisexual genderfluid thing... or just "queer" at this point lmaooo

Ethnicity: American mutt, you know how it is (but Scots-Irish is primary and it matters to me)

Favorite fruits: Raspberries, strawberries, and apples are my favs! I also like peaches when they're in season, and plums when they're so ripe that it's absurd and you have to eat them over the sink. I also like oranges quite a bit.

Favorite season: Autumn forever... the pretty colors and it's not too hot but we haven't hit Winter Depression yet. Also my birthday is in Autumn heehee (technically. The December side of Autumn).

Favorite book series: UHH. I don't read enough anymore. But back in the day it was Incarceron / Sapphique. I'm not sure if those are still as good as I recall but they sure stick in my head as being interesting. If manga counts it's Naoki Urasawa's Monster, Witch Hat Atelier, or Banana Fish... probably the former.

Favorite fictional characters: Kenzo Tenma & Wolfgang Grimmer (Monster), Cole (Dragon Age), Ash Lynx (Banana Fish), Venti (Genshin Impact), Viktor (Arcane), Misty & Nat & Taissa (Yellowjackets), Kris (Deltarune), Coustas (Witch Hat Atelier), Sonic (the Hedgehog), Jax (Digital Circus), Kindred & Hwei (League of Legends), Thorfinn (Vinland Saga), Lucario & Mewtwo (Pokemon)

A fictional character I'd like as a sibling: I think Kris or Coustas would be sweet ;_; I'd be the big sibling either way. I'm an only child though so I'm not sure if that's great or if that sucks HAJSHAJ

Favorite flowers: Wisteria, solomon's seal, purple asters, lupines, chicory flower, and at this point marigolds since they remind me of my partner <3 Really I just love purples and yellows a lot.

Favorite scent: Clean sheets / clothes fresh out of the dryer, lavender, lemon, and mint. Also... gasoline, for some reason.

Coffee, tea, or cocoa: Tea, usually! Or cocoa. I don't drink coffee bahaha

Average sleep hours: Why do you wanna know that (6 if I'm lucky... it's very irregular, often 4-5 with naps during the day, sometimes 8-9 on weekends)

Number of blankets you sleep with: 1 sheet, 1 electric blanket that is only plugged in over winter, and 1 top quilt thing

Dream trip: Iceland!!! (My dream would be to see Jonsi play a live concert in his home country). Also Scotland/Ireland/Wales, Italy, and the Czech Republic are the main ones, but I'd love to travel more anyway (if I had the money) since I've figured out planes are a lot less scary than I thought. My food allergies keep me from the majority of east Asia which is very unfortunate (sesame...)

What do you usually post about: I'm pretty reblog-heavy and almost never post personal / original stuff. But I sorta wanna branch out more into that? I feel like I ought not to be so nervous and shy. But mostly I will reblog a string of whatever I'm currently into fandom-wise and then will go quiet for a day. A funny trend I do notice is that even if I care deeply about a work of fiction as a whole, I tend to hyperfocus one character when it comes to what I reblog... I just get attached sometimes haha

Do you get asks regularly: nawww and that's okay I'm shy (but I don't mind being pestered. It's kinda fun tbh)

What's your aesthetic: Birdssss. Weird dog things. Purple! Animal imagery in general used for metaphor and grief or character analysis through animalistic coding. Southern gothic. Stars / space stuff. It's really genuinely all over the place and none of it sticks to me, it's just interests rather than what I dress as or anything.

July 16th is Ashkaiji day! It's the day my girlfriend and I started RPing these two together two years ago, and since we last checked, that RP had reached over 450k words. It's definitely grown since then! What started as RPing two characters with an interesting potential dynamic on a whim turned into something that makes us both insane with how much emotional depth comes out of it.

Last year we drew them in some references to My Own Private Idaho (hers / mine) and this time we referenced photographs of Bruce Springsteen and Clarence Clemons for our Band AU side project for them! These are their lines and my coloring, and this one over here is my lines and their coloring.
