I’ve been a big fan of your work for a while and am sad about the deleted works but I loved ‘the only hope for me is you’ series. It was such a comfort fic for me and helped me work through coming out as non-binary and figuring out myself. Thank you so much for that!

There was another work of your’s that I loved and can’t stop thinking about. It’s a fairy tail supernatural (tv) au. I’ve posted about it on here trying it find it when someone commented saying it was yours and deleted.

I should have known it was yours because I loved it so much and was wondering if you could confirm it and if there was a way to get a copy somehow. If not, all good too I understand protecting your work!

so despite my body's best efforts to kill me in various creative ways, i am not dead! but i am also not doing a whole lot of living at the moment since i'm on day 5 of a hospital stay that has sucked. turns out in addition to auDHD burnout and fibromyalgia and hEDS, my body decided to develop Crohn's disease! it is my least favorite of my chronic illnesses because anyone who knows me can attest to how much i love food, and i have not been able to eat a meal in over a week. we're starting IV nutrition and a biologic infusion today on top of the steroids and pain management, and hopefully things will improve soon, but for now i am Not Well.

life & writing update

i just finished going through my inbox and trying my best to answer all of you absolutely amazing people who sent me such kind messages about my writing. i really appreciate everyone's patience and understanding! i figured a general update might be in order, so...

i'm alive? mostly. better than mostly dead, i guess! still dealing with burnout in addition to undergoing lots of testing and bloodwork to figure out the reason behind all my joints giving up and a sudden and rapid loss of mobility >.< EDS or another connective tissue disorder is looking likely. luckily i have a great team of doctors and lots of support in my life (particularly my husband Sky who keeps telling me, "in sickness and health, motherfucker" whenever I apologize for being an inconvenience).

dealing with all of this on top of parenting is a Lot, so i haven't been able to work on my writing as much as i'd like. i'm slowly making my way through editing "crash & burn" to get it ready for publication! i am going to hold off on sending PDFs of "the only hope for me is you" fics to folks until the stories are published, but once they are, i'll happily pass along the originals so you can have both. in the meantime, if you want to get updates, feel free to join my mailing list here. i'm planning on sending out a sneak peek of the revamped first chapter later this week!

i've also recently submitted the first chapter of another original novel i've been working on to an international competition (along with 22k other entrants so i'm not holding my breath lol). if i make it to the public opinion round i may be back here asking for your votes! either way, i'm proud of myself for putting it out there. i've wanted to publish a novel since i was 13 years old, and the fact that i'm slowly getting closer to my dream makes me really happy.

And then I went on Ao3 and couldn't find it and panicked

Eventually found the bookmark which was deleted and it was your story "a tapestry of scars"

I was already panicking cause I've already lost 3 other absolute comfort fics but luckily I had yours downloaded

I just wanted to ask why you deleted it...is that part of deleting works because you rework them into original fiction?

hello! so sorry for taking forever to respond, life's been a lot lately and i'm not on here much. i'm definitely fine with people having copies that they've already downloaded! i did remove a lot of my fics because of AI concerns, but also because i am reworking a lot of it into original fiction and stories that i'm working on getting published!

i know it's been like two years since i've posted or updated anything, but such is life. i wanted to give a quick update on some of my fics since some of you have already reached out here. i've deleted my ff.net account, and you may have seen this message replacing the content of a number of my stories & series on ao3:

like the message says, it was a difficult decision, but that doesn't meant that the stories are gone. i am currently developing the only hope for me is you series into a set of original novels for publication. right now, i'm in the middle of editing crash & burn, and hopefully it will be ready by mid-summer (although i can't make any promises, so please don't hold me to that timeline!). once it's ready to be shared, i'll be sure to let you all know here.
