Yeah but we dont care about realistic. Its not the fact we want to romanticize em its the fact its fucking disgusting. Just because you're a psychopath doesn't mean you have a rapist mentality. They in fact have little to no sexual desire. Most of them aren't human and the ones who are dont have that capacity to think like that. A lot of serial killers dont rape. You could use the same argument with them coming onto children or animals, dead bodies. Thats where it becomes an issue. Watering them down to having no morals and being textbook psychopaths is very lazy and disgusting. Also creepypasta was meant to be a horror fandom, that became a safe space. Why in the ever loving fuck would we want them to be like the outside world we try so very hard to shut out? Most girls get sexually preyed on, (me included), so why would we want that horror put in characters from childhood and ones we love. They're most likely to be a protector than a rapist. You're just pushing on the rapist tactic to make em seem realistic and its lazy, one dimensional, and absurd. Why do you think offenderman is put off in the community? Not because we want to romanticize him but because we dont like rapists (or in offenders case, kid touchers.) 'Oh but you're fine with murder or cannibalism!' Well they're not like that for no fucking reason unlike most of them being rapists. They're killers and do what they do for a reason. Its not random or for shock or grotesque (though its part of it because they're written by edgy teens), its supposed to be scary not unacceptable. Now if a pasta revolved around sexual abuse then them becoming a rapist isnt entirely weird because they cant understand whats right or wrong. Clockwork was sexually assaulted but she went the revenge hurt route, knowing it was wrong. Probably gaining a fear of sex in general. Especially after everyone blabbed. Point is them being a rapist is also very unlikely because it doesnt fit in with them at all. Maybe they'd come on strong, maybe they'd be a little touchy and persuasive when they want it but they wouldn't actually assualt someone like that.
