as someone who would overshare out of excitement i am learning to talk less. talk less and just do

i used to tell myself ‘maybe they’re going through something’ but then i realized that i was too and i never treated anyone that way.

Realizing the depression is not seasonal is like: Wow! What a beautiful flower! The birds are singing! I sure do love spring! I think I am fundamentally unlovable as a person.

"it's just stress" oh thank god, it's just the silent killer that slowly kills you, perfectly harmless, no need to worry

you are worthy of relationships that are reciprocal, considerate and intentional. and that isn’t limited to romantic love

don’t take my defeatism too seriously I will always begin again and again no matter what

I might sound miserable most of the time but at my core I’m a very hopeful person
