Finally gathered all the film, interview and director tags for Alain Delon. It’s rather extensive yet everything in one place. I will be adding to it.
And now I have all of John Davis Chandler’s work in one place as well.

STEALING GIFS IS BAD AND YOU SHOULDN’T DO IT.
that shouldn’t need saying, but apparently it does. this is absolutely rife within tog fandom and people are getting braver and braver with it. and i’m tired. i know other tog gifmakers are tired too.
i’m sick of hearing the “some people don’t know that reposting is bad” excuse. they do know. they know. stealing is bad. everybody knows that stealing is bad. it doesn’t matter what you’re stealing, the point is that it’s BAD and you shouldn’t do it.
so much hard work goes into making gifs and putting gifsets together, and there is no excuse for taking all of that hard work and reposting it, when the simpler and easier option is to reblog from the creator and give them the exposure that they deserve for their hard work.
once we’ve had our work stolen, we then have to decide whether to approach the thief and ask them politely to take the stolen post down (and run the risk of being blocked so that next time, we can’t see our work being stolen), or to go through the painstaking process of asking tumblr to remove the stolen content.
we shouldn’t have to do this.
i don’t want to start naming names or “calling people out” but i do feel like people need to be aware that we are having our work stolen, and sometimes the thieves even have the audacity to claim gifs as their own. a ton of tog gifmakers have had their work stolen, and reposted with the caption “my creation”. surely people can see that this is wrong? surely you can understand why we’re upset?
if you see a gifset that you like, please please please just reblog it. don’t save a gif and repost it unless you have the original creator’s consent. always credit the original creator. have some respect for the hard work that goes into creating content for YOU.
the “i didn’t know that reposting was bad” excuse doesn’t wash with me any more. you did know. you do know. stealing is bad. don’t do it.
⚠️ PLEASE SUPPORT CONTENT CREATORS ⚠️
But I will be naming names for it's willful ignorance and because enough is enough. This blogger @moni0608 hates the fact that I exist and that I actually like the same actor but she had to steal a whole lot of my gifs to make her own post. When I approached her and asked her that all I wanted was credit, I could make out that she was already assuming things about me, cooking up her own version of my words and events. It seemed to me that she had already made up her mind about me. I treated her with diplomacy and civility, no less. I have the screenshots of our conversation. She deleted every reblog of my stuff but kept up the gifs she stole. It seems so spiteful.
Everything came to a head when her friend @wagondreamsz made a post, trying to publicly instigate. I wrote to them and thought we had cleared the air despite them actually accusing me of ugly things and just outright cutting me down. And ALL this for an actor! They deleted my response (even though I initially took issue with it because I sincerely did not want our conversation public but even then, I have nothing to hide and I have saved my response as well. Re-reading it, one can see the hurt I felt for the accusations but above all, to see such ugliness in the name of a man who doesn't deserve this in spirit.) but kept up their post, like if nothing happened.
After everything I have dealt with... and those who have followed me probably know what I'm referring to, this seems to be grains of sand in the grand scheme of things but my work makes me happy and to have others just take and take and not care beyond themselves... no, I will not stand by that. You rather be a thief than an honest person.
