I love my trans brothers and non-binary siblings in arms, and recognize their unique and equally valid struggles. And also don’t give into the delusions that trans women are somehow exempt from being prejudiced or problematic. Because I actually understand intersectionality, an apparent rarity among the people who are so quick to image themselves devoid of any and all privilege because they believe it’s a moral deficiency to have it. And are just as quick to use that to elevate themselves above any accountability or blame for any problems ever.

This divisive “discourse” is disgusting and embarrassing for everyone involved. Seriously for self-described enlightened thinkers they're dropping the ball on basic Feminism 101 concepts, like how everyone *including men* and *especially trans men* suffer under and are oppressed by the patriarchy too. And that the patriarchy is not remotely the same thing as masculinity, but the systemic pressures of the social system which actively punish not just femininity but any masculinity that attempts to deviate from the dominant and oppressive version that it pressures men to replicate.

I'm sorry that you're so lonely that you don't have anyone in your life that you love so much that you feel the burning desire to advocate for the safety and comfort of them and others like them.

I think it can also get counter productive to focus on the fact that they're trans anyway. Like anyone can get sucked into radical feminism, it's always bad, it's always racist, it's always intersexist, it's always misogynistic, it's always transphobic, it can't be reclaimed.

I think it's important to point out that there is a radfem bubble within the trans community just to simply address that it's not a cis exclusive ideology. Similarly to how there are TERF bubbles in cis lesbian communities, we don't isolate it as a lesbian ideology, it's all the same shit regardless of who's spreading it.

That's how we ended up with a cis man spreading the same hate speech and propaganda, because it just comes from adopting a harmful and hateful ideology and then using a surface level proximity to trans allyship to absolve themselves of the capability to perpetuate harm against other marginalized people. Lateral aggression doesn't work like that, anyone can perpetuate harmful mindsets against another group (or a different part the same group), the bigotry TERFS show towards trans people has shown us that it doesn't work like that for decades.

Cis TERFS had warped women's rights into a bludgeoning tool against trans people and then hid behind a surface level claim of progressivism coupled with misogynistic sentiments that women cannot perpetuate harm through being the "inherently more virtuous gender"; this has always caused immense amounts of harm. Changing the identity of the person perpetuating it does not change the base level hateful, restricting, gender essentialist framework of radical feminism.

Bigoted cis men consistently team up with cis terfs, and it's not because they care about women's rights, just the opposite; but radical feminism serves them because it is ultimately a conservative ideology.
