How come almost all the Killer achievements are just "do the thing you have to do anyway 100+ times" and the Survivor achievements are all like "kick the killer in the balls, shoot their dog, repair all the generators yourself and escape while moonwalking with a fully charged rare item"?

Achievement Hunting
So I started yesterday at 271/300 achievements in Dead By Daylight and I thought, why not. I did all the adepts. How hard could it be?
It turns out every killer has an achievement that's basically "hit with your M2 x number of times." On killers I play a lot I did it ages ago, but I barely play Nurse, for example, and you have to hit after a blink 500 Sable-bothering times.
I mostly spent my gaming time yesterday getting Caleb, Bubba and Danny. People just gave up against Ghostface multiple times, which I have to say is pretty embarrassing for them. I got one single game that was like I expected, where two Sables followed me around revealing and dodging me the whole time and I got 0 kills.
Ghostface is a D tier killer, people. Watch for him, pre run from gens, hold shift+W and pallet his sneaky ass until he has to switch targets. Back on a gen and repeat.
I started Sally, but ran out of steam toward the end of the day after starting at 113 blinks and ending at 130 something (two very sweaty matches, one 0k and one 2k). This was miserable but educational. By the time I get to 500 I'll be a menace. So that's going to become everybody's problem next 2v8.
While waiting for games, I worked on the "protection hit after killer picks up" achievement on Alan Wake, who is the closest to my Survivor main (followed by Taurie, Orela Rose, Bill and Claudette, each of whom means something specific to me, and Kate, whom I don't give a Jake about but who has a higher win rate for me for some reason). Once again, I have lived long enough to see myself become the villain. Five to go.
Sorry to the Jason who got both an Alan and a Yui with Breakout in his game, picked up Quentin five times, and never hooked him once. I'd start using Starstruck if I were you. That's one of the reasons I personally use it, it discourages Megging around near hook regardless of method, unlike Lightborn.
Now it's time to go to gay church. Then it will be Sally and Alan time again. Sorry in advance to everyone I see as Alan for the next probably two months, I'm going to keep being a queen-size pain in the Steve.
P.S.: As befitting the strongest killer in the game, Sally's OTHER achievement is ludicrously hard, requiring you to hit three blinks in a row and then grab someone off a generator at the end. You can only do this using the very rare Torn Bookmark iridescent add-on to give Sally three blinks.
Given my current low level of blink accuracy, and the fact that I only have 10 Torn Bookmarks, I will not be even attempting this until I have gotten to 450 regular blink hits on the counter.
